Nico pov:
I didn't have to wait too long. The sound of my cell door opening got my attention from the bed. The door opened revealing a grinning skeleton. I got off my bed and walked over to the door. The skeleton stepped to the side to let me go. As I walked past him, he saluted then slowly sank into the floor. I didn't wait to watch him sink completely into the floor, I had a exit to find.

This place is huge. The amount of doors and hallways that look exactly the same doesn't help at all. I tried multiple doors but no solid exits that I could use. The device that was still around my neck kept me from getting the shadows to help but that was the only issue that I have with my powers. I continued to try doors while monitoring the souls in the building, most of the rooms were open and seemed to be bedrooms or just empty rooms. I came to another unlocked door when one soul moved very quickly in my direction. Before I could open the door I saw a yellow streak coming towards me.

I quickly opened the door and stepped in to what appeared to be a way out. There was a water docking station, which I can only assume is for boats of some sort, and a big ball thing. The room itself seemed to change to a cavernous cave that stretched out with the water. Stalactites hung from the ceiling and some from the walls.

'I guess I'm underground?' I thought.

I didn't get anymore time to think about that, before the door behind me opened and a orange haired kid in a bright yellow full body suit stood in the door way.

"Who are you and how did you get here?" The guy asked me.

"I'm a guy who got lost. Mind showing me the exit?" I replied immediately. I looked around the room but didn't see any exits besides the door that this guy is standing in.

"Uh huh. People don't get lost here." He said as he got in a fighting stance.

I backed up a bit to give us some space. I got ready for the fight that was about to happen when the guy blurred out of focus and came at me faster than any child of Hermes ever could. I brought my hands up to block a hit only to be tripped from behind. I fell backwards and hit the ground hard.

"You do realize that I'm faster than you right?" The guy above me said.

"Thanks for the warning." I said as I got to my feet. The other guy didn't want to let me as I felt something collide with my stomach in the half crouched state I was in. I went flying back towards the edge of the platform. I could hear the sound of the water below me sloshing on the side of the platform.

'Not good to fall into Poseidon's domain without permission Nico.' I thought as I tried to get up on my feet.

"Ugh. You know that this is kinda cheating right?" I asked as I got my feet under me.

"Not my fault dude. Although from what you're wearing you can't be the good guy, so surrender and we can get you back to a cell." The yellow costumed guy said with an arrogant smile.

'Moves way too quick to actually fight physically. At least not without surprise being on my side.' I thought. "How about no?" I asked.

The guy shrugged at me as if to say what can you do with people who don't listen?. Arrogance seemed to be in his blood and I hoped it would be his undoing.

He sped towards me with the intent of hitting me again. I lifted my hand and tried to reach for the domain of the underworld and channeled it into my hand before releasing it quickly. It seemed to take effect as yellow suit skidded to a halt with a look of pure fear and panic on his face. I sucker punched him in the jaw and watched as he crumpled to the floor unconscious.

It wasn't the fairest of moves, but causing fear with an aura of death tended to terrify most mortals to a stupor, has come in handy a few times since having to help my father. It isn't a bad power but like shadow traveling it is taxing and sometimes doesn't work on those who are expecting it, already scared, or are immortal.

I felt myself become more exhausted as I sighed out loud. I looked around and searched for souls nearby. It seemed that no one heard it. I quickly left the dock and headed down the hall looking for areas with less people and more possibly a usable exit.

I continued to search room after room to only find more bedrooms and empty rooms. I opened another door and came to a room that seemed to be a general hangout room. There was a couch and tv on one side and a full kitchen that most likely was fully stocked. There were also big rings of metal against the wall but didn't seem all that important. I looked to the kitchen and saw a green girl with a bandaged arm, try to move a wooden spoon around a metal bowl. It looked like she was trying to mix something but was failing at it due to her arm.

'Ok green girl is one of the weird souls. Besides being green she looks normal enough.' I thought. No sooner had I thought it she was suddenly starring at me. I stared at her for a moment before casually stepping back so the door would close, before I took off down the hallway I had come down.

'How'd you get out?' I heard a distinctly female voice say in my head. It wasn't one I recognized.

'Why is there a goddess here?' Was my first thought as I ran through the hallway and down a different one.

'Goddess? Who is a goddess?' The voice responded.

'Great. Crazy goddess with an identity crisis.' I thought before I could stop it. I opened a door and found a room that held my dagger and ring on display as a machine seemed to scan it with a green light.

'I don't know who you're referring to as a goddess nor how you got out, but you're going right back.' I heard her say in my head. I thought of yellow suit boy and how he said something similar about stopping me. 'WHAT DID YOU DO TO WALLY?!?!' She screamed in my head as I was reaching for the ring. I recoiled at the scream and grabbed my head in pain.

'Do you have to scream?' I thought as I grabbed my ring and dagger. I turned around to leave and had to stop. Standing in front of me was a guy with black hair and regular clothes on.

"I don't suppose you are going to forget you saw me and let go?" I asked as I held my dagger before me.

"Not a chance." The guy said as he got in a fighting stance while still blocking the only exit in this room.
