Okay - grandpa said sitting down

Grandpa where'd you get that ugly mask? - Michael asked

This mask? My father gave to me on my day of names - grandpa answered

And I will continue this tradition with you - he continued

The day of names? What's that? - Ellianna asked curiously

We've already got names grandpa - Michael said

Ah you may have family names, but not ninja names! - grandpa said

Right, Samuel! - grandpa ordered then pulling out a green mask

Sir! - Samuel answered

From this day forward until forever you shall be known as Rocky! - grandpa said

Coz' you are strong, smart and cool as granite rock! - grandpa handed him his mask

*Rocky bowed taking his mask*

Awesome, Yes! - Rocky whispered

Jeffrey! - grandpa called

*The boys nodded his head at grandpa in a "yes?" way*

Ahh you are fast and free, spirit of the young wild horse you shall be known as Colt! - grandpa said and gave him his blue mask

Colt? That's cool - Colt said calmly

What about me? Could I be a monster destroyer or how about super killer! - Michael said spontaneously while giving "suggestions" to grandpa

How about super dork! - Colt teased

Shut up spaz! - Michael said to his brother

Ellianna just smiled at their actions while Rocky looked annoyed with his brothers

Ahh the little one - grandpa said chuckling

Since your energy begins and ends with your tummy you shall be known as TUM-TUM! - grandpa said giving tum-tum a yellow mask (not to mention him exaggerating "tum-tum")

Tum-tum?! - Tum-tum said while laughing

Ellianna! - grandpa said catching the girls' attention

Sir! - she said

Since you are fierce yet conservative and subtle you shall be known as Lavender! - grandpa mentioned and giving her a lavender colored mask

That's great grandpa! - the girl cheered

I can't wait to show these to dad - Colt said excited

He'll hate em' - Rocky informed his brother cuz' he knows his dad's opinion on them being ninjas

Same with my mom - Lavender said sadly

Lavender's mother was never fond of her being a ninja and with her hanging around the douglas' since their children are all boys.

Now I know what you're thinking.

Why does Lavender's mother allow her to go to grandpa Morri's cabin every year?

She doesn't. Lavender goes every other summer and when she does she says to her mom she's going to stay with a friend for the WHOLE summer, and that friend's family goes on a vacation every other summer so that's a valid excuse (right?)

Anyway back to the chapter...

Grandpa? Will our dad be home tomorrow when we get back? - tum-tum questioned

Well, he's a busy man with a very troublesome job tum-tum - grandpa answered seriously
