'My Lavender' (On-going)

35 ⚡️(pt. 17)

"You probably shouldn't have shown off, Mister." 

Third Person POV 

As the boys ran, they come across corners.

They stand in shock as they thought they've been caught.

Only to find out, it was the man one of them wants to avoid.

"Grandpa!" Rocky called out in relief

"Hold it!" Colt stopped Rocky from approaching him

"He's friends with that Snyder guy." He reasoned

Morris took out a small knife, showing it to the kids.

"Grandpa... Please it's just us!" Rocky let out a plead

"Don't do it!" Colt exclaimed in hurt

"Grandpa no!" Tum-tum yelled

They all ducked down as Morris launched the knife, not aiming for the children, but for the guard behind them.

The Douglas kids stood up and realized which side their beloved grandpa was on and rushed to his side, calling his name.

"Boys!" Morris took off his mask and laughed as the boys toppled over him

"Where's Lavender?" He asked the boys worryingly

"Right here." A figure came in, holding Lavender by the collar at her back, choking her a little bit

"Let... go of me!" She kicked and squiggled, but it was no work

"Lav!" The boys exclaimed 

Mr. Brown, who was holding her up, looked at Morris straight in the eyes.

"It's either you give me the boys, or I'll only take her with me." 

"You don't have a choice, lose one or lose all!" He laughed evilly

Morris put the boys behind his back and glared at Brown.

"Get off the ship." He said to the boys

"What about Lavender, grandpa!"

"We can help you!"

"We can't leave both of you!"

Brown snicked at the interaction, whispering to Lavender,

"Don't worry, your friends are still not safe after this. There is a lot of guards that's ready to catch them. But, you'll still be separated~" 

Lavender's eyebrows furrowed at this, she hates the stuff he's saying to her, trying to bring her down.

"Lavender, now!" Morris called

His face was beside her, so she had full access to his ear. As she heard Morris' call, she bit Brown's ear and stepped on his shoe.

He yelped in pain and Lavender had the chance to run away to the boys.

Rocky caught her in time as he was the one who was the closest to her.

"Are you okay? Is anything hurt?" He asked gently as all the boys huddled over them

She coughed due to the small suffocation and urged the boys to go.

"Grandpa can handle this..." she breathed  "we need to go, now."

She pushed the boys to continue running, not even giving them the time to say goodbye to their grandfather.

"Get him!" Brown said as he is still crouched in pain due to Lavender's hit

The remaining guards approached and attempted to take their swords out as defence, but the area was too narrow. 

This gave Morris the advantage to reach up and grip the bars and kick the guards down, having Brown the only guy standing.

Morris gave a fighting stance to Brown, and he copied Morris to try and give off some type of intimidation. But Morris took his hands and did a slicing move, causing Brown to turn around and try to run away, instead he was welcomed by a water pipe that knocked him out.

Morris just looked at him and shrugged, walking away like he did nothing.
