'My Lavender' (On-going)

31⚡ (pt. 13)

'Don't pick sides when you've only listened to one.'

Third Person POV 

While grandpa is making his way to save the children, Rocky and Lavender discuss how they are going to get out.

"You figured it out yet?" She asked the boy while looking around for a tool they could possibly use.

"No, they really kept us in a 'no escape' room" Rocky sighed as he made his way to Colt who was already staring at him.

"You know Colt, sometimes you can be a real dork." He said to Colt who immediately thought of a comeback.

"It takes one to know one, jerk." Colt said and pushed Rocky.

"Guys."

"Hey Guys!"

"What?!" They both said to Tum-tum and Lavender.

"My scab came off!" An amused and impressed Tum-tum bragged to his brothers.

"Colt, Rocky please." Lavender pleaded to stop the boys from having a physical fight.

Rocky sighed. Disappointed that he's having this type of argument with his brother. 

"Hey, what's the matter with us?" He grabbed Colt to face him.

"Don't you remember what grandpa said? Everything around us can be our friend."

Lavender thought about what Rocky said and started thinking.

"Be friendly to your environment. That is the ninja way." Rocky faced Colt once again

"Okay, alright Rocky, so what are we supposed to do? Are we gonna go and make the friendly door open?" Colt walked over to the door that had locked them into this room.

"Hey Mr. Door! How are you doing?" He shook the door handle as a sign of friendliness.

"Will you be my friend and open up for me?"

Rocky and Lavender gave each other a look.

"No?" Colt sighed and went back to the others.

"Well, I tried. I think we're out of friends in this room." He pats Rocky in the back.

"Come on, I know there is a way out. I know it." Rocky looked around

"Rocky, would you just give it up? Accept it. We're dead, that's simply it, we are dead."

"He's right Rocky, we're goners." Tum-tum agrees in defeat

"Wait a second." Lavender approached the telephone that was next to the door.

"We're not dead." She showed her infamous smirk and picked up the telephone and put it beside her ear.

Rocky, catching up to her plan, put his hand on Colt's shoulder.

"I told you." He whispered as they watched the girl press some numbers on the dial pad.

"What are you doing?" Colt asked Lavender.

"Can you order pizza on that phone?" Tum-tum asked, half-joking and half-miserable.

Lavender put her finger on top of her lips and made a 'shh' motion as she hears someone pick up the call.

She signalled Rocky to come closer and Rocky, guessing what her plan was by her actions, spoke to the guy who picked up the call.

"Hello, Security." The guy said 

"Uhh yeah, I'm in the kids' cell, can you call me back? I wanna test out the phone." Rocky spoke with a deeper voice than his usual

Rocky hung up the call and gave a thumbs up to Lavender as she gets ready to execute her plan.

"You guys are crazy!" Colt said to his brother and best friend.

"Just watch." Rocky walked back beside Colt.

The phone rang and Lavender answered the phone.

"Hello?" She answered.

"This is a phone check, is that you Frank?" The unaware guard asked.

'It's about to go down.' All of the children thought.
