Today was the day! My last day of school. I were walking home with my two bffs, BF/n1 and BF/n2. "So, y/n. What do you have planned for the summer?" BF/n2 asked.

I shrugged. "Gravity Falls can be a bit boring at times. I mean I'm gonna kinda miss school. It gave me things to do. Not like I like the stuff they gave me but still."

BF/n1 nodded. "I agree. There's alomst nothing to do here! And I don't like the water park here. The life guard there creeps me out. I even saw him eat a whistle!" She shuddered.

"Oh yeah! Isn't that guys name Mr. Poolcheck or somethin'?" BF/n2 said.

We both nodded. Then you heard a honk. "Oh thats my ride!" You say. See you guys this weekend!" I said waving godbye.

After you hopped in the car my mom hugged me. "Hi sweetie! How was your last day of school?" She asked.

"It was OK." I shrugged, plugging my earphones into my phone.

"Oh, and y/n guess what!" Mom said excitedly.

"What?" I said, a hint of excitement in my voice.

"Well! You know how you wanted a summer job right?" She said, staring the car.

"Yeah." I said, the excitement showing even more.

"Well, I got you a job at the Mystery Shack!" She beamed. My excitement faded. The Mystery Shack was a old, rundown place full of fake creatures and attractions. Out of all the places of Gravity Falls, I had to work there. For the whole summer!

"Uhh mom, I'm working there for the whole summer?" I asked worried. "Yup! Plus I heard the owner, Stan Pines, has two kids with him this summer. I think there 12 like you!" She said happily. "And! You start tommorow!"

I face palmed. Looks like I was right about a boring summer...
