Dreams, they are like glowing stars. They peer light into the darkest souls and give rise to hope. Dreams are for strivers who continuously work when the world is sleeping, for dreamers don't lose hope and hope, is a beautiful thing. But dreams are also as fragile as glass, always in need of love and tenderness for them to keep it burning alive. Sometimes, they get broken into pieces and it's almost impossible to attach them back together but again...hope does remain...
Come ponder with me as I unfold these stories of these broken souls with a sparkling hope.
I am The Writer.
(story begins)
[Some seasons have passed. The cold winter is at its brim. Outside is cold and snowy. Ada is sitting on the couch by the fireplace. She has a book with a cup of coffee. She raises her head and looks at the windows. The dreamcatcher is hanged there.]
"Did it really catch my dreams?... I guess it did.", she smiles remembering.
(Flashback)
[The university is packed again. There are people in their graduation robes smiling and congratulating each other. Ada looks around smiling when Deniz approaches her.]
"Congratulations abla.", he smiles at her.
"Thank you. Congratulations to you as well, Deniz.", she smiles at him.
"Let's take a picture there.", he gestures to the photo booth.
[Ada makes sure to take a lot of pictures. She was especially waiting for this day, her dream to come true. She shares the joy with her friends. She is smiling brightly as the sunflower meets the sun.]
"Hocam!", she approaches teacher Chidem.
"Ada! Congratulations.", she smiles at Ada. "I'm very happy for you."
"If you hadn't insisted me, I don't think I'd have been able to do it. Thank you, hocam."
"It was your determination, Ada." She looks at Deniz who's coming there. "Congratulations Deniz!"
[Ada met Deniz at Chidem's classes and he is some years younger than Ada. Deniz is the son of Mustafa Kartal, a well-known figure of a big company. He has always been one of those popular guys in the university who excels at his grades and attracts others by his personality and good looks. Despite his popularity, he has always been very good to Ada from the start helping her with college works. Sharing time with him, it's like she found herself a brother.]
Deniz greets her. "Thank you, hocam."
"So what are you planning after the graduation?", teacher Chidem asks them.
"First a good trip and some relaxing.", Deniz speaks making them laugh.
Chidem turns to Ada. "I'm not so sure right now, hocam.", Ada replies.
"It's alright. Give it a good thought. And Ada! How about you attend this coming writers' press? You'll meet people there and hopefully, it will help you figure out.", teacher Chidem says.
"Ah, that! My dad had told me to attend it as well. I was going to ask abla if she'd like to go too.", Deniz speaks.
"That's good then. Why don't you both come to the press? I'm sure it will be good for you.", teacher Chidem smiles at them.
Ada smiles and nods.
[Then the graduates gather around for throwing their hats. Ada throws the hat up in the sky. Students of 2021! Congratulations on graduating!]
