"So... Wait..." Stiles mumbled, as he drove himself and Diana back to Scott's house, letting his girlfriend retell through tears and sobs the story she had heard from the Argents about Marie-Jeanne. "So... Your mom's family... Comes from a brother of this hunter that killed the beast the first time?"

"Yes." Diana nodded.

"And that's why the Argents think you are the one who's meant to kill the beast now?"

"Yes."

"And they said... They said that Marie-Jeanne had to kill her own brother to kill the beast?"

"Yes." Diana sniffled. "And Gerard said something... He said that history always repeats itself. I... I don't think he realized just how right he was but... But if the beast is Declan, it means... It means..."

"It doesn't mean anything." Stiles interrupted her, parking his jeep outside Scott's house, Stiles turned off the engine as he turned around to look at Diana and place both hands on her face as he got her to look at him. "We'll figure out a way to help Declan, Diana. We always do."

"But what if we can't?" Diana cried out, as Stiles frowned sadly at her. "What if... What if we can't save him and the only way... I mean, if Marie-Jeanne had to kill Sebastien... What if... What if I..."

"Don't." Stiles interrupted her, as he pulled her into him, letting her rest her forehead against his shoulder as she sobbed, almost violently against his chest. "We'll find a way, Dia. Liam and Hayden are out looking for Declan right now. Scott's gonna heal, we'll come up with a plan and we'll save your brother, okay? Diana... We'll figure it out. We always figure it out, don't we?"

When Diana didn't respond, Stiles sighed, reaching over to her to unbuckle her seatbelt for her before climbing out of the jeep and walking around it to open the passenger door for her and help her down. As he walked inside Scott's house, Stiles let Diana practically lean into him for her every step, her body too emotionally drained to do much else, but, as soon as he stepped through the door, Braeden and Malia appeared in front of them. Malia was worried, there was something in her eyes that told Stiles that she had something in her mind, but as soon as her eyes fell on her sister, the girl hesitated, the pain of losing a sibling - even if an adoptive one - still feeling like a fresh wound in her heart - a wound Malia didn't want Diana to have as well.

So, as Malia let her eyes move from Diana to Stiles instead, she almost asked if she could have a word with him in private, but Braeden wasn't one for wasting time.

"Tell him." The woman said, causing Malia to look at Diana, who just nodded, to let her know it was okay.

"You know how my mother wants to kill me?" She said, looking over at Stiles with a sigh. "I think she might want to kill you, too..."

"Okay." Stiles mumbled, midly shocked as Diana let out a heavy sigh. "Hum, that's disconcerting... I should probably have a gun, then."

At his request, Diana pinched her nose, but Malia seemed to have considered it as well, looking over at Braeden as the woman scoffed.

"I'm not giving you a gun!" She protested, as Stiles gasped almost offended.

"You have a gun. The Desert Wolf - who is trying to kill me - has a gun. I think I should probably have a gun!" He argued, as Braeden sighed when both Malia and Diana turned to her, almost expectantly. After all, Stiles did make a valid point.

Reaching for her holster, Braeden pulled out a small gun from it, loading it as she passed it to Stiles who grabbed it with one of his hands, before fumbling with it as it fell to the ground with a thud. Braeden sent Malia a look then and Diana rolled her eyes as Stiles mumbled, almost embarrassed.
