She is water. Powerful enough to drown you, soft enough to cleanse you, deep enough to save you.

The morning sunlight peeking through your window woke you up a week later. Usually Yoshio would take up the position of being your alarm, but today he wasn't feeling it. You turned your head slightly to the large grey ball of fur on the pillow beside your head. He was curled up with his face hidden behind his tail, his back rising and falling with each breath. As soon as you sat up his amber eyes opened to watch you go about your usual routine. When you disappeared into the bathroom to take a shower, Yoshio rose to his feet and stretched, walking to the edge of your bed closest to the door and sitting there to wait for your return.

Not much had happened between the time you relearned how to fly and today. Unfortunately you weren't able to go out and practice on your own thanks to the fact that your hero license expired a few years ago. You didn't feel like it was right to keep asking Hawks for help seeing how busy he was with work. Not to mention the fact that he had already done a bunch of things for you that you would never be able to repay him for. So you figured that you would get a hold of your old teacher to see if he'd take you on again.

Aizawa already had a lot on his plate; summer break was closing in on his class, fighting tooth and nail to see if he could uncover the truth about your bar, and finally he had taken on a disciple. You felt pretty selfish to be asking him for help, but when you texted him and asked to meet up to talk he said that you could drop by U.A. around lunchtime.

So that's how you found yourself wandering through the hallways of the school you graduated from later that afternoon. You ran your fingers along the lockers as you walked by, fondly remembering the code to get into yours as old memories began surfacing in your brain. A few seconds later the soft smile on your face fell to a frown. There was no point in reminiscing on the last two years you had attended when the good times were overshadowed with the bad. It didn't take you very long to reach the teachers lounge, a soft knock with the back of your hand resulted in the door being slid open maybe half a breath later.

Aizawa stepped aside to let you in. From what you could tell, nothing about the school had really changed as of yet and that pleased you. A few minutes later you were seated on the couch, sipping on the cup of chamomile tea that Eraserhead had prepared for you before you knocked on the door. He looked as exhausted as always, though you could tell that he made an effort to tame his facial hair since it was a little bit shorter than when you had last seen him. When he put his own cup of tea down and leaned back against the couch across from you, you took that as a sign to start talking.

"He wants me to be a hero again." You began, not sure of where to go from there. "He brought it up in conversation two weeks ago and I still haven't given him an answer."

"It's not a bad idea." He replied, crossing his arms over his chest. "You passed the provisional exam each year. We've changed it up quite a bit since you were here but that's only because these kids nowadays have stronger quirks. I'm sure it would be a breeze for you thanks to the multitude of things you can do thanks to your stockpile ability." It had been a few years since he saw you in action, but to your surprise he remembered a majority of your abilities.

"The only issue is that I'm really rusty and out of shape." You replied. "Otherwise I wouldn't be too worried about it."

Aizawa leaned forward after he thought things over for a moment. "Is that why you're here? To ask me to retrain you?"
