Set Between Season 4 and Season 5.

It's been a whole month after the whole tournament of elements business and during that time, Jay had started taking some singing lessons to try and impress Nya, as his feelings for her have never left. (In this universe the Monastery has been rebuilt by now)

(Jay's POV)

"Are you sure this will work Cole?" I asked my best friend, who gave me a slight nod In agreement. "Trust me Jay, you got this!" He said with enthusiasm. "B-But my voice sucks. S-She's gonna hate it."

"You gotta give it your best chance Buddy. I'm sure she won't find it that bad." Cole said, as I let out a deep sigh as I made my way to Nya's room.

I hesitantly knocked on her door, with the Samurai opening it almost instantly. "H-Hi Nya, can I c-come in for a minute?" I nervously asked her. "Sure thing Jay." She said, as I slowly entered her room before she closed the door behind us. "So what's up?" She said, as I stared into her hazel coloured eyes.

"....I have a p-present f-for you." I said, as her eyes widened in shock. "R-Really... what is it?" She said, as I let out a deep breath. 'Cmon Walker, you can do this!'

"Okay... here's your present..."

.....

"S-Same bed but it feels just a little bit bigger now
Our song on the radio but it don't sound the same
When our friends talk about you, all it does is just tear me down
'Cause m-my heart breaks a little when I hear your n-name

It all just sounds like ooh, ooh, ooh, hoo
Mm, too young, too dumb to r-realize
That I should have bought you flowers
And held your hand
Should have gave you all my hours
When I had the c-chance
Take you to every party 'cause all you wanted to do was d-dance

Now my baby's dancing
But she's dancing with another m-man

My p-pride, my ego, my needs, and my selfish ways
Caused a good strong woman like you to walk out my life
Now I never, n-never get to clean up the mess I made, oh
And that haunts me every time I c-close my eyes

It all just sounds like ooh, ooh, ooh, hoo
Mm, too young, too dumb to realize
That I should have bought you flowers
And held your hand
Should have gave you all my hours
When I had the chance
Take you to every party 'cause all you wanted to do was dance

Now my baby's dancing
But she's dancing with another man

Although it hurts
I'll b-be the first to say that I was wrong
Oh, I know I'm probably much too late
To try and apologize for my mistakes
But I just want you to know

I hope he buys you flowers
I hope he holds your hand
Give you all his hours
When he has the chance
Take you to every party
'Cause I remember how much you loved to dance
Do all the things I should have done

When I was your man

.....

Do all the things I should have done

.....

When I was your man."

As I sung my last lyric, I looked at Nya. Her face a bright red as she gave me a shocked expression. "S-So.... what do y-you think?" I said, Nya still speechless after what she just saw.

"....J-Jay.... That was amazing! Where did you learn to sing so well!?" She said, my face a crimson red as I took one of her hands in mine. "I was learning... for you." I said with a weak smile, Nya's blush deepening ever so slightly. "Y-You what?" The Samurai said.

"I-I was wanting to learn how to s-sing... to try and i-impress you. I-I'm sorry if I ma-" All of a sudden, I stopped. As I felt the lips of the samurai press against my cheek. My body in a state of shock as she pulled away from the kiss. "You d-don't have to be sorry Jay. That was r-really sweet of you and I really loved hearing you sing. B-But I'm not really... wanting to be in a relationship again." She said, my heart breaking in two as I gave her a fake smile. "O-Oh okay... I understand." I said, a little disappointed.... until I felt the arms of the Samurai gently wrap around me. "Thank you though. You'll always be special to me." The samurai said, a genuine smile forming on my face this time as I returned the hug.

As we removed ourselves from the embrace, I looked into Nya's eyes as I gave her a massive smile. "Thank you as well Nya, you'll always be special to me as well."

"Anytime.... Jay." She said with a faint smile as I got up from her bed and made my way to the door.

"Jay... wait!" She exclaimed, as I turned round to see the flustered samurai. "I've got a discount at Chen's now since Skylor runs the place. Y-You wanna head down with me to grab some Noodles." She said, as I gave her a beaming grin.

"I'd love to Nya."
