(Nya's POV)
It was one more day till Halloween and I was so excited, but what I'm more excited for is the annual school Halloween dance that they have here and I knew who I had my eyes on, the one and only Jay Walker.
Me and Jay have been good friends for some time but I want to be more than that, well if he wants to as well of course.
I look across my class to see the Auburn Haired boy and I couldn't help but give off a little squeal at how adorable he is, His little freckles and his face are so cute and overall personality is charming, I hope he says yes.
The bell rings and I wait for Jay to walk out of class, I see him walk and I decide to be a bit naughty.
I walk up behind and scream. "HEY JAY!" He turns round and looks like he's seen a ghost. "AHHHHHHH" he screams, I fall on the floor laughing my head as I hear Jay say. "Oh H-h-hey N-Nya." I then get back up after my laughing fit and greet him with a hug, after about 10 seconds and pull away and I see his face is as red as a tomato. I then decided that this will be the moment I ask him.
"Um Jay, can I ask you something?" He theme replies with. "Uh S-sure Thing N-Nya, w-what is it?" My face starts to heat up as I stare into his Deep blue eyes, I then leave my trance as I say. "I w-was wondering if you want to be my date for the Halloween Dance this year?" Jay's whole face turned red after what I told him and he then said. "Uh S-sure Nya, I'd love to go with you." I give a sweet smile as I say to him. "Ok thanks I have to go for my lunch, see yah tonight." And before I left I give Jay a parting gift, a kiss on the cheek, as I go to cafeteria and turn back to see Jay, dumbfounded by what happened and he then started smiling, he looks so cute when he's confused.
(Jay's POV)
I went into the cafeteria to meet up with Kai and the others and when the name Kai popped into my head I started to Panic, I thought to myself. 'What if Kai doesn't let me and Nya be together for the dance' I then walked up to the table where I saw my friends.
"Hey Jay!" Cole exclaimed, I gave them nervous wave and I then said to Kai. "Uh Kai, there something I need to tell you, promise you won't get mad." He nodded, I then sat there, silent for about till I finally burst it out. "Me and Nya are going to the dance together." Kai's expression turned quickly, it was first a happy one, now it was a angry one, he looked like flames were about to come out of everywhere, I knew I was dead.
"You asked her out!?" He said with anger in his tone, I then shook my head and said. "Well here's the funny part." I chuckled a little. "She asked me."
Kai looked even more mad than he already was, he then stormed off to the table where, NYA WAS AT OH CRAP HE'S NOT LETTING ME GO WITH HER ANYMORE.
Kai then returned after about 5 minutes talking to her and he then said. "She needs to speak to your Walker."
I got up from where I was sitting and I went to Nya's table, she looked really happy for some reason, oh god she didn't even want to go with me, I'm such an idiot for believing her.
I made it over and Nya said. "Jay, fantastic news, Kai can let us go." I was really confused now. "But he looked so angry when he came back."
"He is pretty ticked off about me going with someone but he says he fine with it if it's you because he trusts that you can take care of me." Kai really thinks that about me, wow. I then say to the Raven haired girl. "That's Awesome, I wouldn't think Kai would trust you with any guy, anyways I gotta go, see you tomorrow night." I gave her a wink as I left as she looks back at me with her dreamy eyes, she actually does like me.
Tonight was the night and I was really excited, my costume I was dressed as a blue ninja since I love Ninja's and I love the colour blue, I wish I can be one, some day.
Nya texted me that she wanted to have match costumes so she decided to wear a mix of a light blue and red ninja costume she got when we were picking them up yesterday after school.
I then left, said goodbye to my parents and went off to pick up Nya.
I finally arrived at Kai's house and I knocked on the door and who was there to answer it? Nya smith wearing he beautiful Ninja outfit, I stood the aw.
"H-hey Nya, you really pretty in that suit." She blushed a little before saying. "Thanks Jay, you look really cute in yours." We both smiled and before we left, Kai had something to tell me. "Take care of her and make sure she has a good time, ok Jay, I trust that you can do that?" I nodded and we both left to go to the school.
We arrived and the place was Jam packed, we also saw Cole with Seliel, Lloyd with Akita and Zane with Pixal, Kai decided not to go as he and Skylor wanted to watch a film together, we made our way to dance floor because Nya hesitated.
"Nya are you ok?" I asked as she stared at the floor. "Jay I sorta don't want to dance, I asked you just so I can spend time with you cause I like you, like a lot" I give her a massive grin as she said that as I said. "If you don't want to dance I'd be happy to spend time with you."
She then looked really upset as she said. "Well it's not I don't want to, it's cause I can't." I then say to her to make her feel better. "Nya if you don't want to dance that's fine, I'd rather you'd be happy than I and you wanna know why." She nodded and all I said to her was. "Because I really like you to." I stared deep into her deep blue ocean eyes as she said. "You wanna sit on the rooftop, I know a way to get up there." I nodded and we made our way to the rooftop.
This is all I wanted, to spend time with Nya, we gazed at the moonlight as she rested her head on my shoulder, she then whispered to me. "I love you Jay."
I look down at her and say. "I love you too Nya." I then wrapped one of my arms around her waist as we stared into the night, thinking about what the next day will bring.
