(Nya's POV)
It was another boring day at Ninjago High and I was hanging out with my friends, Pixal, Skylor, Harumi and Akita, today however was my least favourite day. Valentines Day.
For as long as I can remember I haven't been given one card or asked by a single guy if I want to be their Valentine and I just ignore the day from now on, Well I try to but I really can't when the other girls are getting cards left, right and centre.
I just sat there with them, slumping over the table and looking as sad as ever, Harumi then noticed my glum state and asked me.
"Nya, are you ok? You don't look to good." I gave her a fake smile and said. "Yeah Everything is fine, thanks Harumi."
The school bell rang and we went off to our separate classes, I was in Engineering with one of my good friends, Jay Walker. People don't know this but I have a little crush on him, he's really nice to everyone around, especially when he's around me and that's one of the many things I like about him. I was planing on getting him a card, but he probably doesn't feel the same way so what's the point.
I arrived in my Engineering class to see Jay, he looked quite red and was holding something in his hand, must be a Valentine's Day card to his crush, it's probably Kate, she's always so nice around Jay and I think he's harvesting feelings for her because whenever she's around, he barely says anything.
I sat down and got on with my work, a few minutes later I looked across the room to see Jay whisper something to someone and handed him what was most likely a Valentines Day card, thankfully the teacher wasn't here so it could be past around the class with ease, while it was being passed about it fell to the desk of Morro, the school jock.
Morro ripped it open and after reading it he started to laugh, Jay looked absolutely heartbroken that his card didn't get to his destination and after stopping his laughing fit, Morro said to whole class. "Oh my god guys, Jay likes Nya, why try your chances Jay, she would never go out with someone like you, nobody likes you." I was left there stunned, Jay liked me back.
Jay started to tear up before running out of the class room, he brushed aside the teacher and ran off, I got up from my seat and went up to Morro and slapped him in the face. "HEY, what was that for?" He asked me. "For hurting Jay's feelings!" I then grabbed the Card from his hand and ran off to go find Jay.
While I was searching for him, I stared down a the Card, thinking about what was inside, I was desperate to see what is said so I opened it to find out exactly what Jay said to me, It's reads:
Dear Nya.
Roses are red , Violets are blue. You may not feel the same, but I really like you.
Love Jay xxxxx
I was buzzing with Joy after reading it, Jay isn't the best with his words but these ones made me feel whole, I then heard sobbing coming from the Janitors room, it was Jay's. I then asked him. "Jay are you ok?"
(Jay's POV)
"Oh my god, Jay likes Nya, why try your chances Jay, she would never go out with someone like you." Morro said to me, those words hurt me and I couldn't face what was going on, so I left, I went passed the teacher on my way and hid myself in the Janitors room, so I can be alone, like I always have been.
I was crying my eyes out thinking what Nya, must of though, she probably didn't care, no one cares about me, The one time I had the guts to ask my crush and I ruined it, all because of Morro.
While I was continuing with my breakdown, I heard a sweet voice call my name from the other side of the door, it was Nya's. "Jay, are you ok?" I didn't say anything until she said to me. "Jay please can we just talk about this?" I then turned the lock to open it for her and then she locked it from behind as she also turned on the lights.
"Jay, what's up, something's got you down." She asked me in sincere tone, I then said to her. "You know what happened!" I snapped at her, I then said with a sad tone. "I'm sorry Nya, it's just I like you a lot and I know you don't like me back, aw who am I kidding, who even likes me at all." Nya then looked very disappointed in me as she said. "Don't be silly Jay, plenty of people like you." I then looked up at her while the tears stains started to fade away. "Oh yeah, like who" Nya then said to me, confidently. "There's Harumi, Pix, Akita, Skylor, Kai, Cole, Zane and Lloyd." I felt heartbroken when she didn't say her own name and I then asked her. "What about you?" She then grabbed both my hands and said to me. "Well I...uh... li-" I then stopped her mid sentence and said. "I knew it, it was a waste of time getting you that card, it was a waste of time even likin-" The next thing that would happen to me, I wouldn't have imagined in 109 years
Nya stopped me mid sentence as well as she pulled me in for a kiss, I stood there, absolutely frozen but just taking it in. When we pulled away I stood there in aw, Nya then said to me. "Does That answer your question?" I stared at her in amazement and gave her a slight nod as she giggle at me, probably because of my shocked face, Nya then said to me. "I really like you Jay, and I love the card you gave me, no one has ever given me a card so thank you" I gave her a smile and said. "No problem, sorry I couldn't write a better poem, you know how I am with words" I then asked her, more confidently. "So uh Nya, do you want to be my valentine?" She then gave me a sweet smile and said. "I'd be happy to Jay, thank you." She then gave me a warm embrace as she then said. "We should probably get going, Lunch is going to be Soon and we don't want anyone getting the wrong idea of us two stepping out of the Janitors room together" I gave her a nervous laugh as we both left the Janitors room and returned back to our class.
Finally I have something to care for, someone to be with, someone to Love.

Hi there guys I hope you enjoyed this part, you may of seen I recently took down a story called, "Lost without you" the reasoning behind it was because I hated the ending and that I felt like it was the worst story I have written so far, this one is a massive improvement in my opinion.
