The days following Alex's first night seemed to wisp by in a whim. They didn't  even end up getting the extra materials for a second bed. The excuse they made? It was less work and warmer to share a bed. Now the duo sat in front of the pond where they had their first picnic.

This time however they were cloud watching, they both laid on their backs immersed in their conversations. At some point Alex had pointed out a cloud shaped as a penis. They ended up laughing for almost two minutes straight, making it five when they saw more clouds make a pair of balls for it as well.

For the first time in a while, they could be themselves, and laugh about the dumbest shit. The grass blew gently throughout the time they've been there. The longer blades tickling their exposed skin. In between the two, were their hands, interlocked and laced with warmth. The girl hadn't remembered when they first grabbed each other's hand, but she hadn't cared none the less.

Brushing her thumb across their already interlaced hands, she smiled in content. "Hey Q," "Hm?" He hummed back in acknowledgement. "When will you take me flying?" She said while staring up into the clouds. He laughed in remembrance, "You were serious?" He asked.

"Hell yeah I was!" "Well let's see about that then." He replied sitting up. Rolling his shoulders back a little he cracked a few bones before standing up completely. By now Y/n was sitting up, admiring the boy before her.

She would never shut up about how attractive Alex was. Even his scar had healed nicely, though his eye seemed to cloud slightly from the injury. None the less, with Y/n's reassurance he's learned to accept it.

While stretching his arms out a little Alex looked down at Y/n. " You know I might be a little rusty, I haven't flown in a long while.." he said meekly. "Take your time pretty boy, I could watch you all day." She winked, making him flustered.

While composing himself once again, his pale gold wings stretched out. They seemed to almost glimmer in the sunlight, as the rays of light complimented the colours of his feathers. Wings that seemed to be stiff and fragile now glowed in radiance and strength.

He really was a pretty boy huh?

Flapping his wings slightly, he had taken towards the clouds. Y/n admired him from the grass where they once sat together. He seemed to falter here and there while trying to regain his sense of flight. Moreover, he was well put together and even did small tricks, earning giggles from the girl.

Even after saying she'd seen the most of Alex, she continues to be amazed by the boy. How could Schlatt not absolutely adore him? She would always think. Selfishly she was grateful Schlatt didn't, because if he did, she wouldn't be able to have him for herself. Oh how lucky she felt every morning when she would wake up to his soft snores, or to his chocolatey brown eyes.

Soaring down Alex stumbled upon landing, "I need to work on my landing skills more." He said with a laugh. "I think you were amazing." "Well then, are you ready?" Her only answer of course, was yes, she couldn't possibly be more excited.

Wrapping his arms around her waist, he slowly flew up. "You alright?" He said as he picked up speed. She hummed a yes as she gazed in excitement at the land and skyscape before her.

The clouds around them were swirled and carried a fluff like appearance. Upon reaching out to touch one it soaked her hand in water. Maybe one day she could collect fresh rain water from up high. "You know Alex, we're in the same position as the one for Titanic, you want me to paint you like one of my French girls next?"

He gave her a strange look, laughing a bit he said, " Hermosa I could drop you right now you know." "You would never." She said making kissy faces at him, to which he scrunched his nose at her. After minutes of teasing they continued to look over the skies in comfort.

The sky wasn't necessarily special that day. It held the usual baby blue colour, while the white clouds seemed to mix into the blue like tufts of cotton. The sun seemed to add more white tints along w some golden highlights. "You know the sky is very beautiful today.. but not as pretty as you." She said winking at Alex. "Y/n you're going to make me crash." Alex said quickly as the tips of his ears grew flushed.

Flying closer to their pond they had decided to try landing in the flower field nearby. Which, didn't go as according to plan as they toppled over each other. Landing with a thud Y/n opened her eyes only to see Alex below her. Once his eyes seemed adjusted to the sunlight his face grew red for what felt like the hundredth time. The girl only smirked at his nervousness.

Leaning in she gave him a chaste kiss earning a small whine from the boy below her. She only laughed, promptly kissing his cheek. Leaving a trail of kisses she soon met with his jawline. "You're my pretty boy." She said against his neck before sitting back up. "Why'd you stop.." Alex breathed out. Rolling off him she only smiled saying how they were out in the open, on a field.

"Stop pouting you baby, let's go back and get some lunch." She said pulling Alex up by his hands. He grumbled as he stood, amusing Y/n. It was fun teasing him, she adored absolutely everything about him.
