Liberalism as another form of alternative theory of international relations was born in the United States. Since then, the concepts and its ideas had been contended in the matter of its supremacy among other ideologies. Some philosophers believe that the ideas of liberalism and international order are contradicting, as others argue that realism contest the applicability of liberal concepts and ideas in the time being.

Liberalism is said to believe in progress and change as upon the attainment of success without use of armory and war, while realism, a formerly established ideology, contends to the reality of battles due to diverse power and status. As defined dimensional in the given article, liberalism is connoted as ; the equality of all citizens, possession of rights, practice of freedom and bestowal of power to choose their beliefs; the idea of power in authority as vested by the people is for the non- abusive practice of rights; the liberty applicable through one's practice of rights to own properties and means of production, and; the promotion for a market-driven economic exchange which is free from any regulation and control.

As liberalism plays as a theory and application in domestic and international context, it promotes the idea of individual liberty, freedom, rights, constitutionalism and conservatism, as the said and unsaid identity of a state determines how will it approach the environment and the other countries in global context. The ideology believes to the practice of natural rights and sovereignty of an individual with the presence of good governance encouraging the concept of values, liberty, order, peace, justice and freedom. The role of international organizations upon establishing collective action for the benefit to the whole was delivered both in domestic and in international context. Thus, international organizations and institutions are expected to contribute upon execution and monitoring of practice and protection of the said liberal concepts.

The idea of anarchy in war was a common idea for realists and liberals but the liberalism believes that the root of battles and warfare is the difference in political ideologies and system of the states and nations involved. During the age of enlightenment, multiple philosophers showed and express their perspectives supporting and contradicting the idea of liberalism, establishing the foundation and core ideas on the said ideology and expanded in international context as various countries contend the difference and commonality of their ideas.

The reality of liberalism's success in stability and progress of the practicing countries lead to its triumph among other established ideologies, as the understanding and adaptation of the idea of peace as something that happens out of effort to be constructed rather than as something that develops naturally, was adapted and multiplied. At that point, the security of countries from any form of threats and advantage of flexible living, to fulfill their individual aims without any restriction, is what lead the idea of liberalism to invent diplomatic approach and lateral agreements.

Since then, formal agreements that aim for collective and general welfare dominated and continuously grow as time goes by. As much as the idea of liberalism and its essence was internationally adapted, the full application to selective practice in each and every country were performed, as much as of every citizen. Hence, the effectiveness and efficiency of the liberal ideas has been proven and tested by time and history, influencing enormous change and progress from then up to the time being.
