It's not the end of the world yet. We have time.

"Wake up!" Ace yelled, hitting onyx with a pillow. "It's 8 in the morning! We have to leave!" She said, slapping her even harder.

Onyx rolled over, putting her fingers in her hair. The rest of the summer went by fast, and now it was September and time to leave for Hogwarts.

"I'm up; I'll be downstairs soon." Ace rolled her eyes and threw the pillow across the room.

Onyx soon got out of bed and started piling clothes in her trunk.

She stripped off her nightclothes and looked in the full-length mirror. She looked at herself and took in her features; dark skin, curly dark hair, blue eyes, the stretch marks that decorated her thighs, and the scar that rested on her collarbone.

She put a hand on her hip and ran it over her skin, wishing her skin would be smoother than it was yesterday and the day before.

She was truly perfectly imperfect.

Suddenly there was a knock at the door, making Onyx cringe and run to her bed. She grabbed the sheets firmly in her fist and covered her body just in time for the door to open and show Draco in his nightwear and his hair a mess.

He stood there as she sat on the ground in embarrassment.

"I'm sorry, I thought you were downstairs." He muttered.

"Then why are you in here if you thought I was downstairs?" She said, slowly getting up, trying to cover herself as much as she could.

"No reason." He said nothing else. He just left.

--

"Does everyone have everything?!" Narcissa asked urgently.

"Yes, mother," Draco said, embarrassed as his mother placed a hurried kiss on his head.

"I love you, Draco."

"Mom," Draco said, clearly not wanting this to happen in front of his friends.

"Draco."

"I love you, mom."

Enzo dropped to the Floor laughing as Draco's face turned red.

"Aww, I always knew you were a mommy's boy." Pansy laughed.

"Sorry to ruin the moment, but the train is about to leave." Ace said, checking her watch.

"Shit!" Blaise leaned over her shoulder and yelled.

The train started moving. Thank God they already had their stuff on the train; they only came out to say bye.

"Fuck!" Draco cursed, starting to run to the train.

"Language!" Narcissa yelled as everyone ran off.

They made it to the train ten seconds before it left.

-
"So, Dracula, how about you tell Pansy why you don't like Harry." Enzo laughed, sitting back in his seat, trying to make conversation.

"There's a lot I don't like about that fucking orphan" Draco rolled his eyes. "One he didn't shake my fucking hand, two he's a bitch-"

"Damn, he was ready to go off," Blaise laughed.

"And it's just something in his eyes that I don't like," Draco finished.

"Maybe it's the ghost of his past," Onyx laughed.

-

When everyone got off the train, it was colder than expected. Onyx shivered, and Enzo handed her his sweater.

"Enzo, I'm not wearing this," she laughed.

"Why not inky?" He frowned.

"I'm not going to wear a sweater that says 'I love hot moms'"

"Come on; I know how much you love it," he teased. Onyx ended up putting it on. She wasn't going to fight the cold.

The great hall was packed with new and old students, all in different houses, all annoying.

From across the hall, Onyx locked eyes with a Hufflepuff girl; her eyeliner was flawless, her stare was one from a fever dream. Her dark brown hair looked like it hadn't been brushed in a millennium, but yet it was so...fitting.

Their stare was interrupted by someone clearing their throat. A lady dressed head to toe in a blinding shade of pink.

If looks could kill, Dumbledores would have killed the obnoxious frog.

"Thank you, headmaster, for your those kind words of welcome." Onyx already hated the bitch. "And how lovely it is to see all your bright, happy faces smiling up at me." No one was smiling. "I'm sure we'll all be very good friends."

Onyx could hear the Weasley twins whisper to one another, "that's likely."

"The ministry of magic has always considered the education of young witches and wizards to be a vital importance."

"Why the fuck is she shaking?" Mattheo laughed.

"She's gonna burst a blood vessel" Pansy shook her head.

"Although each professor has brought something new to this historical school," she turned to Dumbledore and nodded. "Progress For the sake of progress must be discouraged."

"What does that even mean?" Draco muttered.

"Let us preserve what must be preserved, perfect what can be perfected, and prune practices that ought to be prohibited" she smiled and headed back to her seat.

"She really thought she ate" Enzo put his hands on his head while smiling.

-

Pansy's and Onyx's room was the same it had been for four years. It was just the two of them and four walls.

"Feels nice to be home, right?" Pansy smiled. She always found warmth in this room. Onyx realized how much this room meant to her when Her eyes traced the cigarette burned couch and the black and white printed picture of chicken little that covered a fist hole from Blaise.

It was her happy place.

I know Draco got his dark mark in half-blood Prince but idgaf.
