When the date of June 5th passes, and I'm months and hours away, I'm happier than ever.Around the first of June, however, I become rudely interactive. Stress brings emotions only the Gods and stars can explain.
Dracos' birthday was in three days, Yet I was enthusiastic. Maybe because my father is back, or it could be my healing.
The door to my room slowly creaked open to reveal my dad with a book in hand and a wand in the other.
"D-Do you maybe want to finish—um...reading this?" I looked down and realized he was holding a copy of 'The Tales Of Beadle The Bard.' that still has the bookmark from where we left off all those years ago.
Ok, Mabey, it's not me healing. It's the fact that my father is finally back and trying to make up for the time we missed.
"um, yeah, sure" I couldn't help but smile as he sat at the foot of my bed while I rested comfortably under the covers with my back against the headboard.
We only got through 20 pages before I slowly started to drift to sleep. Once he noticed my eyes closing, he stopped and put the bookmark back in.
