Nami's P.O.V.
"Ms. Shirahata, your father is arranging a gathering between the Ootori's. It's taking place at their Estate tomorrow night at exactly 8:00pm. I'll be at your apartment by 7:30 to take you up there. Your father informed me to tell you to dress formally."
I glance at the phone in pure disbelief, formal? I'm never a fan of formal, wearing dresses was never my thing. Maybe I could get away with a skirt... "Okay, tell my father that I got in contact with the Horokru's. They agreed to schedule a gathering next weekend."
"Of course! Anyways, do you want me to pick you up for any errands you have?"
"No...I'm fine for the night. I'll see you at 7:30 sharp."
I hang up and look at my laptop. My father gave me limited information of the Ootori's. Three sons and a sister, all well educated and very serious parents. My father was probably just gathering with them to avoid conflict between the companies. Even though that was already out of the question. We knew the Ootori's so well once.
Part of me yearns to finally sleep but, there's still work to be done. I flip open the black laptop a white pineapple embedded in it. I click open my documents and go to one titled 'Assignment 165.A Part 2' I began working on it, scanning over and fixing typo's.
After a couple of hours of typing my eyes glance to the clock on the laptop. It read 5:15am. I sigh and save the document, if I wanted to get work done tomorrow I'd have to get some rest now. I fold my glasses before setting them on my bedside.
Kyoya's P.O.V.
Tamaki and I make our way to Music Room #3 for another day as a host. "Kyoya...Mommy?" I snap out of my train of thought as my eyes focus on him. He's walking backwards in front of me, his face is full with worry. "Have you been listening? I was talking about our next theme. Something elaborate but, not...over the top."
"I'm sure you'll find something...you always do."
My eyes narrow back to the hallway, the sun shining down on us. It was a beautiful day but..for some reason I was out of it. We get to the room and right before I could open the door it swings open, Kaoru and Hikaru flailing out.
"Tamaki! Kyoya we've been looking for you!" Tamaki smiles softly. "Sorry, Mommy here was spacing out." Kaoru and Hikaru glance to me before both shrugging before leading us to the Host Club. Right when we walk in my heart nearly skips a beat, it was busier then usual.
Tamaki's face, on the other hand lights up in excitement. "Oh! New visitors, lovely. Kyoya order a new tea set while I find these ladies their match!" I nod flipping my phone open and notice I have a missed call. From...my father?
I glance both ways before calling him back, knowing a lecture would be arriving in mere seconds. "Kyoya? Why didn't you answer my call? Were busy!" I wince and answer calmly. "Sorry Sir, I had my phone off. Forgive me." He's silent for a moment before continuing stern in his voice. "Were meeting with the Shirahata Estate tonight at our own Estate. Dress formally and be here at 7:30. Do I make myself clear?"
"Yes Sir."
Instantly he hangs up and I look at Tamaki. He's explaining all of our 'Names'. I sometimes wish to be as happy and care free as he is but my life is filled with the daily rush. But I know his life isn't as free as I thought. He just knows how to handle it better than I ever will. He glances back at me before rushing over explaining a excuse to the ladies around us.
"Kyoya, what's the matter?"
"I believe I have to meet with the Shirahata's tonight." When his face lights up it almost unsettles me. "The Shirahata's? Why are you complaining? The Shirahata's are very rich. I hear there's only one child in the family, a girl! If you merry her she'll bring Merit!"
I glare at him cutting of his obsession. "I'm not planing on marrying at all. I'm focused on taking over the Family Estate." His eyes widen in surprise "Mommy, your not planing to marry?"
"I believe I said what I said. Did I not?"
He sighs before dragging me over to a group of young ladies, obsessing over the twins. "Ladies, would any of you like to speak to this 'Cool' type?" They give a glance at me before smiling, I give a fake smile. "Afternoon Mademoiselles."
Before I had much time to react I was forced to entertain three young girls. All of them were pretty, I had to admit but...I just wasn't exactly in the mood. It fairly surprised me, myself.
After hours of the Host Club we finally get to leave, it was quite surprising to see how fast I fled. Of course, Tamaki still managed to catch up to me "Are you alright? You've been acting out of it." I manage to plaster a smile. "Oh, I'm fine I just have to get home and arrive at the Estate."
"I'm going with you!"
My eyes widen with shock. "I don't think so...my father would kill me." Tamaki's eyes begin to fill with tears. "Kyoya, I need to meet the Shirahata's! Please!" He clings onto me, shaking me lightly. "Fine! Only for a moment then you leave!"
Once we manage to dress in clothing suitable for the occasion I walk with him to the Estate. Praying my father wouldn't see Tamaki by my side. We arrive and I immediately lose Tamaki.
"Damn..."
I growl walking inside, straightening my tie and looking around. Then my eyes rest on my father and I could tell that we wanted me over. I walk over trying to calm myself down. "Sir." His eyes narrow to a young girl with black hair and icy blue eyes that I knew so very well once.
