Kyoya's P.O.V.

I had my driver take me to the nearest ring store and grimaced slightly, I wasn't even sure on what style Nami would like. Either way I told him to go out an get himself lunch before turning to the store and sighed, the glass doors gave me access to the clear tables full of various rings and push open the doors.

The lady behind the table flashed me a too wide smile, "Aww, are you here to buy a ring for your woman?" I clear my throat, already uncomfortable with the situation, I should have asked Tamaki to come but he would have known sooner and wouldn't have been able to keep it a secret for even five minutes.

"Um..yeah."

She gushed sweetly and gestured for me to walk over, "How cute! She's a lucky girl with how handsome you are!" I blink twice, this woman was flirting with me when I was in an engagement ring store? Her morals were low and I slowly walk over, viewing each ring with uncertainty, I just wanted out of here, "What kind of style are you looking for?"

Her voice drags me back to reality as I look up at her, "Oh um...I'm not entirely sure." I felt like an idiot and loathed it, this should be easier! She nods, "Well feel free to ask questions Mr. Ootori!" I nod and try to ignore her gaze burning into me as I scan around, desperately praying for the right one.

Just as I was beginning to lose hope one catches my eye as I stare at it, a silver with leaves, gold with a raw diamond, it instantly reminded me of Nami and her love for nature.

I look up at the bubbly blonde worker who still hasn't taken her eyes off of me, "The cost of this one?" She bounces over and leans down to look at the glass, or more or so less give me a view of her cleavage I didn't want to see, "Oh! This one is a beauty! It's fifteen-thousand."

I nod, it was surprisingly cheap from what I was hoping to invest on her but it seemed perfect and the size looked as if it was meant only for her, I take out my checkbook and write a quick check, adding another eighty-six for the box and hand it to her.

Once I had the bag, I was quick to bid her a 'Thank you' before rushing out, wanting to get home and forget about how stressful that had to be. My driver stands outside, handing me a cup of steaming coffee and I thank him before stepping in.

"Does the ring speak her?" He ask and I nod, smiling at the black bag, "I think it does..."

He smiles softly, "I'm rather proud of you, sir. You've gone through quite a lot for a kid your age and I remember finding the ring for my wife, tedious work that is. It's all worth it in the end though."

I smile softly, I always did like this driver, he was a kind, hard working man who truly loved and cared for his family, often speaking of them. I glance out the window to see Tamaki with the twins and Haruhi and slid further down my seat, praying they wouldn't notice me, it was a black limo, no big deal and then the light turns red and we're sitting right next to them.

After what seems like hours, we drive off and I let out a long sigh of relief before sitting upright again, taking a sip of my coffee. We make small talk until we get to the mansion and I step out, smiling as I take the box out of the back and stuff it in my jacket pocket, telling him to take the day off before walking inside.

Nami's eyes and smile greet me as she stands and I walk over to kiss her sweetly, "Hello, my dove." She chuckles and wraps her arms around me, "You were gone for a while, is everything alright?"

I nod, "Of course! Just got caught in traffic is all. Now, let me straighten up the house, you've done enough today."

She sighs and nuzzles my neck, "You're too good to me, Ootori." I chuckle and kiss her temple, "As you are to me, Ootori." The name rolls of my tongue sweetly and I have never loved my last name more, it had never had such a burning importance than now.

I let her go and gently lower her back into the chair before walking off, going to clean up and tried to plan on how I would give her the ring, finally deciding and smiled as I walk downstairs, pulling her close and smiled, burying my face into her shoulder, "I got a gift for you, follow me."

I lead her upstairs, remembering her love of art and smiled to myself, hopefully this wouldn't seem to cheesy or unplanned, even if it may have been. Inside a little room, where she kept her easels and the blinds waved as dust mites danced in the sunlight, I smile softly and look at her questionable gaze around the room.

"Nothing looks new Kyo..." I smile and walk over to her easel and turn back to her, "Lift the top paper." As she walked over I turned and took position behind her, watching her lift the paper in slight anticipation.

She processes the painting for only a few seconds before turning on her heel as I was knelt down on one knee. I wished somebody would have told me the anxiety you would get when proposing. I never really thought about how gut wrenching it was until now but the tears that filled her eyes made my anxiety hitch as I began to stand, "N-Nami..."

She cuts me off by leaping into my arms, tossing us both backwards onto the floor, I had little time to process her lips on mine or the repeated 'You're an idiot' and 'You know the answer already'. She laughs softly and pushes herself back slightly with my chest, "Seriously, Kyo. What did you think I'd say?" I sigh and lean up on my elbows, "Nobody prepared me for the anxiety you'd get, it really wipes away all common sense." She laughed and kissed me again softly before standing, "The painting is beautiful, how'd you get it done so quick?" I shrug and slowly get to my feet, "Wasn't easy, that I confess."

She then turned and chuckled, looking at me with a smug smirk as I stare at her in confusion. It was as if she was expecting something but I had no idea what. Finally she speaks and I feel like a damned fool, "Mr. Ootori... the ring?" I stumble and open the box quickly, "Shit, of course. Sorry!" She laughed and walked over, placing a hand on my chest as she kissed me deeply, "Calm down, will you? I said yes." I nod and slip it on and am instantly filled with such a proud and loving emotion, I can't help but smile widely and meet her eyes, "It's beautiful, Kyoya."

I smile softly and kissed her temple, "Even better on you." I then pull her close and sigh, "Ready to break the news tonight?" She bites her lip, "It is a bit anxiety inducing but I know they all will support us. Tamaki might throw one of his big ol' tantrums and go on about how he'll plan the wedding and should be the best man and all. Haruhi will contain him for the most part, the twins might joss us a bit but all in all... they are all perfect friends and I can't wait." He nodded and I laid my head on his chest, "How do you think Haruhi will respond to me asking her to be my maid of honor?" He chuckled, "She'll be thrilled, Nami."
