Chapter Three: Job

𝙲𝚞𝚛𝚛𝚎𝚗𝚝 𝙻𝚘𝚌𝚊𝚝𝚒𝚘𝚗: 𝚄𝙰 𝙷𝚒𝚐𝚑.

Kyoka grips unto the straps of her backpack as she walks into her class.

It was still pretty early so Momo, Sero, Todoroki and where the only ones there.

Kyoka walks over to her desk and sets her bag down, before pulling her chair out and taking a seat.

"Morning Kyoka!" Momo says, smiling widely as she turns her chair around so she could face her friend.

"Goodmorning." Kyoka smiles back, "You seem to be in a good mood."

Momo blushes, "Shoto finally asked me out."

Kyoka's eyes widen in suprise, "I'm so happy for you Momo! I feel like a proud mom." She chuckles.

"Thanks Kyoka. That means alot." Momo responds.

They both go silent for a bit before Momo speaks again. "How are things with you and Kaminari?" She asks.

Kyoka sighs before answering, "I think we're doing fine but he was acting kind of...weird this morning."

"How comes?" Momo questions.

"He just seemed really...distant? Like his mind was far. Normally he's bubbly and excited when we talk but he was kinda quiet today." Kyoka responds.

"Maybe he was just tired." Momo responds, trying to prevent Kyoka from overthinking the situation.

"It didn't seem like that. It seemed like he just didn't want to talk to me." Kyoka says, fiddling with her fingers.

"Look Kyoka, I personally feel like you should talk to him about this. If its worrying you so much, just try to tell him how u feel."

Kyoka nods in response, "I'll try to. Thanks Momo."

"No problem." Momo smiles, "That's what friends are for."

A few hours had passe and Kyoka and Momo were currently walking to PE. The halls were filled with hot sticky people. Exactly what Kyoka hated.

"Hey Momo can we use the other hall? This one has too many people." Kyoka says.

"Sure thing." Momo responds.

The two girls turn the corner and head down the empty hallway.

This route took them alot longer but honestly that didn't really bother them, they didn't really mind the extra walking.

The pair finally arrives at the locker room. To their surprise ot was completely empty. Not a single person in sight.

"Where is everyone?" Momo asks.

"Maybe they got stuck in the crowd." Kyoka responds.

"That's probably true. Let's just hope they dont take too long." Momo lets out, before placing her gym bag on an empty bench and grabbing her clothes.
