He stares at her and wickedly smirks,
She looks him in the eye,
He feels his false ego dangling now,
And the sheer will to defy,

He traps her in his hairy arms,
And bares his teeth to bite,
She scratches him and screams,
But, in vain, it seems,
Losing her power to fight.

Then, she looks around with empty eyes,
The onlookers are so still,
Like corpses standing on the road,
Yes, they are dead or killed.

She holds her breath,
Collects her might, closes her bloodshot eyes,
And pushes him hard,
And her fears meet their demise,
He falls on the ground,
Defeated and astound,
Looking at her with rage,
She stands tall ahead of him,
All he could think is,
"A battle, can she wage?"
