Chapter 2

Lena Pov

We were all at Kara's place waiting for Sam, Ruby, and Kara to come home with Y/n. I was in the kitchen when Alex comes over.

"Hey." Alex grabs a bottle from the fridge.

"Are you suppose to be getting drunk this early." I joke.

"Aren't you suppose to be out there helping us and not in the kitchen eating pretzels." Alex gives a smirk. I arched my eyebrow.

"Doesn't work on me, Luthor." Alex laughs. 

"So who is this Y/n?" I ask as I stuff another pretzel in my mouth.

"She's Kara's old friend from high school. She was my friend first, but not jealous or anything. Then after we moved, Y/n moved to Japan to work with Bruce Wayne and yeah. But the best news is that she's single." Alex explains. I thought about it for a second, but was interrupted by the sound of the front door opening.

"We're home." I heard Sam's voice say. I quickly came out the kitchen to bet hit with a faint scent of roses. Standing at the door with Kara was the most beautiful woman I've ever seen. She had a tannish skin, green blue eyes, an amazing smile, and brownish curly hair in a messy bun.

"Everyone, this is Y/n." Kara introduces. 

"Long time no see." Alex goes over and hugs Y/n. 

"Alex, how have you been." Y/n smiles. For some weird reason her smile did something to me.

"You know, married, has a cute daughter named Esme." Alex smiles trying not to brag. Speaking of Esme, Esme comes running down the stairs with Ruby behind her. J'onn, Brainy, Nia, and Kelly all introduced themselves to Y/n. Finally, it was my turn.

"Hi, I'm Lena." I blush as her green/blue eyes stare into my green eyes. She shakes my hand and chuckles.

"I know who you are, It's wonderful to meet you, Lena." Y/n nods. I was in awe, she wasn't afraid of me, it was like she saw me as an ordinary person. The last person who treated me like that was....James.
