Lena Pov

I walked to my office, ready to start another day of endless paperwork. Jess brought me a cup of coffee and some paperwork I needed to finish before the day ended. Hours went by and I still couldn't get Y/n out my head. There was a knock at the door, causing me to jump.

"Come in." I sigh. Kelly came in with some food.

'Your here late." Kelly smiled. I checked my watch, 10:00.

"Esme missed you." Kelly chuckles. My eyes widen.

"Shit, I'm sorry. I was suppose to take care of Esme tonight, while you and Alex went on your date. I'm so sorry." I frown.

"It's okay, Y/n's at the house now, playing games with Esme." Kelly passes me some food. I groan and cover my eyes.

" Lee, are you okay." Kelly asks.

" I'm so overworked, ever since Eve became evil, I have no one to help me with my work." I whine. Kelly let out a chuckle.

"I thought your Luthor genes never got tired." Kelly jokes.

" Ha...ha...ha, so funny." I roll my eyes. I put my head on my desk.

"Lee, you need a new assistant, that's all. No need to whine." Kelly giggles.

"Easy for you to say, you don't have 20 meetings each day with people who hate you just because of your last name." I point out. I got up and went over to pour myself a cup of scotch.

"I have a great idea, how about you ask Y/n to be your new assistant." Kelly pops up. I almost spit out my drink.

"Why on earth would I do that." I ask. I totally didn't mean for that to come out like that.

"She's gonna be here for a while and she needs a job, I hear." Kelly explains.

" I'll talk to her." I gulp.

I knock on Y/n's apartment door and waited. Finally, the door opened and Y/n stood in a black hoodie with jeans on.

"Hey, Lena." Y/n smiles. I turned red, her eyes just literally killed me. She opens the door wide enough and lets me inside. She closes the door behind us.

"How are you." She asks as she gets me something to drink.

"I'm good." I sit on the couch and she passes me a cup of scotch.

"You like scotch too?" I ask surprised.

"I do." Y/n smiles. Damn, that smile did things to me.

"Kelly tells me you need a job." I sip my drink.

"I actually do, I tried to get a job at Catco but obviously no luck." Y/n shrugs.

"Why don't you come work for me as my assistant." I smirk. Y/n raised her eyebrows.

"Really." Y/n asks. I nodded.

"I already did a background check and you seem good." I put my glass down on the table.

"H-how." Y/n scrunches up her face. I got up and headed to the door.

"I have my ways, now get some nice clothes and I'll see you tomorrow. I'll send a car for you at 8:00 in the morning." I arch and eyebrow.

" Y-yes ma'am." Y/n stutters. Finally someone who crumbles when I arch my eyebrow.
