Hypno's eye narrowed at his new surroundings. Of all places to rendezvous, and this was what was chosen?

The smell of the place didn't help either.

Hypno felt his nose scrunch up in disgust as he caught a whiff of the air. It smelled of dust and old, mossy stone from generations past. It was a strange, but weird, combination of scents that the steve wasn't fond of.

Without having to look, Hypno could tell someone was approaching. His hearing was razor sharp, thanks to his changes, and he already knew who it was.

The aura this steve gave off was the same as always; curious, intelligent, and comforting at the same time.

"Of all places to meet, and you choose an old library?" Hypno grumbled, turning around to face the new steve.

He sighed, pinching the bridge of his nose. "It's either this, or risk getting caught by someone. This is pretty far from any steve civilization, so we have to make do with what we have."

"Whatever." Hypno rolled his eye, still not pleased with this meeting place.

However, the new steve had a point. Getting caught by another steve would be bad, especially one of the same color as them. It was a mystery how this library was found, but as long as it was far from any civilization, it would have to do for the time being.

"Anyways," the steve continued, "I can tell you did something yesterday. Something...bad. What was it?"

Hypno scowled, remembering the events of the prior day. "Let's just say I found some new...prey to eliminate. People that could hurt you."
