Chapter 7:Rise and Fall of L'manberg (Part 5)

    You hear that they are having a presidential debate over at the courthouse. While you are not supporting either side, you head there anyways to hear what they have to say. When you don't see anyone else who is neutral there, you feel nervous as you seem to be the only one neutral here at the moment.

  They start debating over the territories of L'manberg. With Quackity stating his idea of opening the country to the rest of the people who are not European. Wilbur shoots down the idea quickly by referencing the war earlier to separate themselves from the others and their hard work will go to waste if they open their country. You personally think Wilbur has a point there as it hasn't been long since their independence.

  They then debate over ways of solving the "Pet war" which you didn't know existed. Apparently, people are killing other's pets or something. You do not know what events they are referring to but you shrug it off. Wilbur wants to reinforce the law of no killing pets with violence while Quackity thinks otherwise.

  You quickly become tired of this back-and-forth so you leave not knowing the result of the debate. You later hear from Dream that Wilbur decided to give up and let the people choose what they think is right for their country. You don't really care about the debate however because you have a feeling it won't be affecting much.

Timeskip

  It is 21 September, the day of the election. You arrive at the bottom of the stage on which the electing parties will be. You sit behind Punz and wait impatiently wanting to get this over with already. They start talking about why they decided to run for the presidency. Then Fundy for some reason walks up and starts talking. Turns out he and Niki want to run for the presidency as Coconut2020.

  There comes the reveal of each party's endorsement. The moment you personally have been waiting for. And with Wilbur's introduction comes Jschlatt himself. Jschlatt starts off strong with "Democracy is overrated." which is unexpected for everyone. He then announces himself as another person running for president with Schlatt2020. Dream endorses Schlatt for some reason but you think he will regret giving him that power soon enough.

Timeskip

  Here we are again at the foot of the stage, this time it really matters. With a heavy heart for the future, you await the result of the vote. Coconut2020 has a lot of disqualified votes as they are cheating with Fundy's coding skill which doesn't matter as Coconut2020 is more like a joke anyways. Wilbur announces that with 45% of the vote POG2020 has won. However, Quackity has decided to combine his vote with Schlatt2020. Schwag2020 then wins with 46% of the vote.

  Schlatt with his egotistical self then proceeds to give his first decree of the presidency. He revokes Wilbur and Tommy's citizenship. You sit there in shock while the two run for their lives. With arrows raining down on them, they flee to safety, outside of L'manberg and the Greater Dream SMP. They are exiled from their own country that they created from nothing. You feel sympathy for the two who are cast away.

  Schlatt announces to take down the wall and expand the country and with that, you are shaking with excitement. Because according to a little birdy the Blood God himself will be joining soon. You have been waiting for this moment patiently from the second you hear this piece of information. You decide to join Wilbur Soot if it means you can both see and interact with the Legend himself.

  Schlatt changes L'manberg to Manberg which you couldn't care less about as you are heading straight to Wilbur in hopes of joining them which will let you see the Blood God. You nervously head out of L'manberg to the wild to find them as you do not know their exact location. You heard somewhere that their base is at a ravine but you do not know which.
