Faithful Companion(Various! Dsmp x Loyal! Reader)

Chapter 1:Peaceful life

  You have been friends with Dream for a long time and therefore were invited by him to join the Dream SMP. You built a cottage house with a lovely garden and a basement for storage. You usually spend your time mining, farming, and spending time with the Dream Team. You were satisfied with life but little did you know life wants you to suffer.

  Just like any other day, you spent your nights in the mine to avoid monsters as you are not like Dream who is great at combat. You pull out a clock to check the time. It was already daytime so you come back up to check with your friends. You have heard from Dream that he is inviting a new person to join who is also a young boy. While you normally wouldn't mind a new member like BadBoyHalo who is known to be kind, you have a gut feeling that the new one would not be as Lawful Good.

  As you climb back up to your house, you put the resources collected in the chest and head out. You are on your way to spawn to meet the newcomer when you see Dream. 'OH Dreaaam!' you try to scare him, pretending to be the others in a manhunt. Dream tenses up until he turns around and sees you. '(Y/N), did you have to do that?'He furrows his eyebrows or you assume so as he is still wearing that mask of his. You laugh and smack him on the shoulder lightly. 'Come on, this is not the first time I try and you still fell for it. Is it really all on me?' 'Whatever, are you going to spawn to meet the new member?' He says to change the subject, you know he is slightly embarrassed that he fell for your joke. You shake your head slightly and answer, 'Obviously, I still don't get why you didn't tell me his name. Is it even someone that great?' He chuckles knowing your annoyance and refuses to answer.

  After joking around for a while, you two arrive at spawn. You lean on a tree waiting while Dream rambles about something. You hear a loud thud that cuts off Dream's ramble. You look up to see a young boy with a white shirt with red sleeves and a bandana. He stands up and mumbles a soft 'fuck'. You can't help but let out a small 'pft'. The boy looks up alarmed and sees you standing there along with Dream.

  'Did you just laugh at me?!'The boy exclaims, seemingly agitated with you. 'Sorry, I came here to meet you. I am (Y/N) by the way.' You smile at him. He brushes the non-existent dirt on his shirt and begrudgingly introduces himself,'...Tommyinnit or Tommy. Dream, I didn't know you were that excited to see me here.' Dream who already seems annoyed with the child was going to say something mean (at least you think so), you nudge him to make him be nicer.

  'Of course not, I am just here with my friend because she wanted to meet you.' Dream ends up saying. You are not impressed but know he was going to say something worse so you let that one go. You fake cough and ask if Tommy would like any guidance on the whereabouts of this place. He refuses and says that he is perfectly fine on his own. You don't really believe him but shrug and start leaving with Dream.

  You soon notice Tommy trailing behind you and roll your eyes mentally at him. You shrug it off and start chatting with Dream. 'So, you think I should make a welcome gift for the kid?' You heard a gasp from behind you, you resist the urge to smile. Dream says,' Like what? You aren't going to make me give something too, right?' You laugh,' No need to get all defensive, I am not asking you to do anything. I was just thinking about some tools and planks, that's all.' 'Like diamond tools? I didn't know you are that generous.' You let out a mocking laugh,' As if, if I need to give someone that, I would rather give it to you.' He tries to play it cool but you can hear the smile from his voice which warms your heart.

  After walking in comfortable silence, you are back at your house with only Dream next to you. Tommy must have left without you noticing. You tell Dream you are going to go and start making the gift. He nods and tells you that he will be going over to George and if you need anything you can find him there. You thank his consideration and wave goodbye.

Author's note: And that marks the end of the first chapter, so what did you think? And for the ones who want to get to the chaos that is Tommy, the next chapter will be about that. This is my first book btw so please be gentle.
