Mae's POV
"Please come in" I step aside.
Am I dreaming or is Calum Hood in my house?
"Well I'll leave you two alone" My mom sings waltzing out of the living room.
Oh God she's so embarrassing.
"May I ask what brings you here?" My curiosity got the best of me.
"Well there's been a change in plan considering your work conditions" Calum spoke wearily.
Great he's probably going to fire me.
"And what might that be?" I tried not to sound nervous.
"Instead of you taking care of my fish at my house we'll be bringing you and my fish on tour with us!" Calum cheered throwing his hands up.
"That sounds great!" I almost screamed, "but if your bringing the fish with you why do you need me?" I asked suddenly confused.
The smile instantly dropped from his face and he got serious.
"Listen Mae do you want the job or not?" He asked forcefully.
Jeez what the heck just happened.
"Of course I do" I responded shyly.
"Good, were leaving next week on tuesday so I suggest you say your good byes and begin packing as soon as possible" He smirked.
I nodded in agreement.
Now here I am lying in bed wide awake because my mind won't leave me alone. Don't get me wrong I am completely stoaked that I get to go on tour with 5 Second of Summer who wouldn't be? But something just doesn't feel real like there's some strange catch or this is all a crazy dream. I also don't know if I'll be able to leave my mom and Melissa for so long. I'm really close to my family and not seeing them for a long period of time is not something I have experienced. What's also weird is how Calum got all rude suddenly like what the fuck. Maybe its a rich person thing.
