A lot of things had happened after Yoon-hee stabbed her neck when they encountered her about murdering Min Seol-a. Logan and her had brought her to the US and treated her neck and her vocal cords so that she can speak and sing again

Ms. Yang had committed suicide by poisoning herself after she tried to kill Rona and Yoon-hee who became a savior to her daughter. Logan had faked a suicide note and made Joo Dantae the culprit of Suryeon's murder case instead as Yoon-hee turned herself in and asked for a cross-examination and was revealed innocent in the end. Joo Dantae made the housekeeper as the culprit in order to escape from the investigation, ending the case there

Mirae and Hyunsik had gotten closer as friends throughout the years, spending more time together before the time comes for them to revenge for the second time. Yoon-hee and Yoon-chul had decided to work together, building a company with their help and succeeded in the US. They came back to Korea on Cheon Seo-jin and Joo Dantae's engagement party, ruining it by making a grand entrance

Mirae still haven't had the courage to go there yet, after everything that had happened. For her, the country is cursed. All of the people she cared for and loved for, died there

Min Seol-a and Shim Suryeon, the people that she had bonded together had left her. She can't afford to lose someone else again. Throughout the years, Mirae constantly watched Seol-a's videos, replaying them whenever she missed her. Suryeon's messages and voice recordings, she read them and listen to them whenever she felt empty. The older woman always reminded her to be careful, not to skip meals, always alert with her surroundings and to take care of herself all the time

She missed them like crazy

Hyunsik is still holding to the drive that contained his family's murder footage, waiting for it to be used at the right time. He found out about Yoon-hee's sin from the girl, same reaction as Mirae's when she found out about it. Him too, hadn't been able to process the news as he had always thought that Yoon-hee is different from the rich people. But they were wrong

After Yoon-hee was released and turned innocent, they both flew to the US, staying with Mirae and Hyunsik in the mansion. Although they both couldn't look at Yoon-hee the same way again, they ignored her and only acted different when Rona's around. Yoon-hee on the other hand, of course, she felt hurt by their actions but she knew that she deserved more than that

Killing the person that they loved is horrible, whether she had the intention to or not

Mirae asked to Hyunsik as they both waited in the car after sending Rona into the Cheong-A Arts Highschool 30 minutes ago. Logan's promise to Yoon-hee about not sending her back to Korea had been broken when the girl had asked Mirae and Hyunsik to send her back to Korea to re-enroll into the school back

Yoon-hee had told her about her wrongdoings, making the daughter hate and resent the mother for doing so, guilt is eating her alive. She found out about everything when Mirae and Logan told her about everything. Their connection with Min Seol-a and the reason why they came back to Korea. Rona begged to them on her knees, asking them to send her back to Korea in order to win the Daesang trophy for Seol-a in the upcoming Cheong-a Arts Festival later
