"You knew this whole time?"

Mirae asked to Logan as both of them sat in front of each other in a cafe with two cup of coffees on the table. He nodded at her question

"Yes. I figured that she was Shim Suryeon when my secretary gave me her photos. I saw a necklace that belonged to Suryeon. She was the only one who would wear it. Now, enough of that. Why did a got a call from my secretary that you made him canceled the flight tickets. Even Hyunsik is freaking out when he found out about it"

Mirae sighed, putting down the cup when Logan looked at her with seriousness all over his face

"How could I go back when Suryeon already told me about the plan? I won't go back. I told my grandparents that I still have something to take care of. Don't you dare try to convince me to go back there. Now that Rona and Suryeon's still alive, I won't leave them"

Logan sighed, eventually giving in as he knew that if the girl is determined with something, she'll do anything to make it succeed and nothing can convince her to get out of it. So he just sighed

"Just promise me one thing. Be careful. keep the self defense weapons with you all the time, no matter where you are. Always be alert with your surroundings, got it? We never know what that bastard will do after this"

Mirae laughed

"Okay, I got it. We're both a grown up in case you forgot about that"

"And which grown up got kidnapped weeks ago?"

Mirae glared at him who was shrugging his shoulders with a smirk. She cursed at him, mouthing the words as he laughed

"Are you cursing at me right now?"

"Yes"

She then crossed her arms, looking away with her legs crossed as well. Logan chuckled

"Sorry. It's too early to joke about that, isn't it?"

"It's fine. I got over it already. You have no idea how much I've joked about it to Hyunsik. He hated it, though"

Both of them laughed as Logan shake his head at his friend's childishness. They continued to talk about Rona and Suryeon, the plan that was made by the woman and Cheon Seo-jin who agreed to work with them despite knowing nothing about Logan, her, Hyunsik and Suryeon's behind it

They will use her as an advantage

Hyunsik said proudly, boasting about his cooking skills to Rona as Mirae scoffed at the chair. Rona laughed at her reaction and smiled to Hyunsik

"Thank you, Mr. Park. I'll enjoy this"
