𝐂𝐡𝐚𝐩𝐭𝐞𝐫 𝐓𝐰𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐲 𝐎𝐧𝐞

Weeks had passed and the days still didn't change except for Kang Mari, Lee Kyujin and Ko Sang-a dissing Mirae and Hyunsik whenever they bumped in their ways. Kyujin and Sang-a was still on their level, not having a lot of money like before but enough to still live in the Hera Palace. Now that Joo Dantae is rotting in the prison with Cheon Seo-jin as his company, Kyujin couldn't do anything like before anymore

Kang Mari didn't change at all but Mirae could see the embarrassment and guilt whenever they met on their ways. When she's alone, she would look hesitate to talk to Mirae and would only walk away while avoiding Mirae's eyes. Mirae noticed this of course, but only ignored her as a reply

She walked towards Rona's house when the girl had called her earlier. As she was walking towards the elevator, a man pulled her waist and close to his body. Mirae didn't even have to see who it is

"Did Rona called you too?"

Mirae asked as Hyunsik looked at her with a small frown

"No. Seok-hoon did. He told me to go to Yoon-hee's house. What's wrong with them?"

Mirae shrugged her shoulder, getting into the elevator as they rode it until they arrived at the 45th floor. They punched in the code but they were startled when they saw Eun-byeol on the floor, crying her eyes out

"What the... Ha Eun-byeol?"

Hyunsik exclaimed in shock, looking over to the twins and Rona who was making some breakfast while serving them to the table

"Why is everyone that I despise is here?"

Eun-byeol whined, crying even more as Mirae scoffed

"I hate you too"

Hyunsik chuckled, closing the door as they walked towards the kids

"What's wrong with her?"

Mirae whispered as Seok-yung replied

"We saved her from Ms. Jin"

They frowned, looking at each other at the mention of Ms. Jin

"Eun-byeol said that Ms. Jin is obsessed over her. We simply helped her to escape from the woman"

Rona explained, earning a nod from them

"We should eat now. I'm hungry"

Seok-hoon said, ignoring Eun-byeol's whines from the floor as he sat on the dining table

"Hey, Ha Eun-byeol. Just shut your mouth and eat with us already. You're so annoying"

Seok-yung said, sitting in beside Seok-hoon as Rona sat in front of her. Mirae and Hyunsik joined them as they grabbed their utensils. Mirae looked down to the floor where Eun-byeol was sitting at

"Crying won't do you anything. We'll figure something out and make sure that Ms. Jin won't interrupt you anymore"

Eun-byeol looked at her, wiping her tears as she slowly sat beside Mirae. The woman gave her a pair of utensils and a bowl of soup for another side dish. The girl looked at her and quietly thanked her. Mirae looked at Rona and Eun-byeol, sighing through her nose as she started to eat the food
