All of them scoffed in anger at her answer
"I knew it"
Yoon-hee exclaimed angrily
"But, why did he suddenly made you his target? It's been months since our encounter at the festival, why attack now? Besides, he doesn't even harm me. Why?"
Hyunsik said, earning a look from the other two as she looked at them and let out a small sigh
"The night when I drank alone, I actually met him at the bar and he threatened me because of what we did to them years ago"
She replied in a low voice as Logan sighed
"Why did you kept it a secret from us? You know damn well that he's dangerous as hell and you thought that ignoring his threat could result you a positive outcome?"
"I'm sorry. It's just, there's a lot going on and we're busy with the Na Aegyo's situation. I can't give you guys more problem when we can't even control and solve ours"
They sighed
"Ms. Kang. You need to go back to the US"
Her eyes widened at Yoon-hee's words
"What?"
"She's right. You need to get out of here"
Logan replied, backing Yoon-hee up as Mirae quickly grabbed Logan's hand making him looked at her with a brow raised
"At least, let me stay here until my bruises fade. My grandparents will notice them. You know how much they'll be worried when they know about this"
He sighed, looking at her hesitantly and gave in
"Fine. But only for two weeks. After that, you're boarding the plane back to the US. I'll tighten the securities here and hire more bodyguards to watch over you when you go out. I'll also buy you some self defenses weapons so use it wisely. I hope you won't have to use it"
Mirae broke into a smile, nodding as she suddenly yelped when she felt her bruises hurting
"Why?"
Hyunsik asked hurriedly as she chuckled
"Nothing. Anyways, aren't you guys busy? It's 2 a.m. Both of you should go"
She said, looking at Yoon-hee and Logan as they nodded
"Take care, Mirae. Don't get hurt"
Yoon-hee said with a small smile, worries behind her voice as Mirae nodded with a smile
"Yes, Ms. Oh. I'll be careful"
Yoon-hee smiled at her, walking out from her bedroom as Logan looked at her worriedly. Mirae scoffed with a small chuckle
"Go already. I'll be fine. Besides, Hyunsik's with me now. You have no idea how he saved me. He punched all the bad guys like the hero in the movies"
