ashley's pov:

i woke up in the morning and got out of bed. i got ready for the day and then headed downstairs.

mom:good morning hun

ashley:morning
i said pouring myself some cereal.

ashley:sooo

mom:me and your dad talked about it, and we're deciding to let you go

ashley:wait really?

mom:yeah, we both think your responsible enough to take care of yourself, and we actually got to talk to the family your going to stay with this morning

ashley:oh, we're they nice?

mom:super nice, they're happy to have you stay with them

ashley:goodd
i said smiling.

once i finished eating breakfast, i headed upstairs to fill out my forms.

-monday

i woke up earlier then usual so i could turn my forms into the office before school. once i got out of the shower and got changed into my uniform:

(a/n: this was the only uniform i could find that looked decent 😭)

i quickly ate breakfast and then made my way out.

once i got to school i walked to the office and to mr.cary's office.

ashley:good morning, here are my forms
i said placing them on his desk.

mr.cary:you made a good decision, do you have time to talk right now, or would you like to come in after school? it's just some information

ashley:i suppose i can talk right now

mr.cary:you may take a seat
he said and i sat down.

mr.cary:so i heard your family talked to the people you will stay with so we don't need to worry about that, and the soonest you can leave is thursday

ashley:this thursday?

mr.cary:yes, the semester in new jersey starts on monday till the end of school, then it will be your choice to return back here or continue your school in the states

ashley:okay, thursday fine then

mr.cary:okay, we'll send your parents some more stuff to read and info and then your last day here will be thursday and you will start at your new school

ashley:thank you

mr.cary:no problem, i hope you have a good time in new jersey, and if i don't see you after that we wish you nothing but the best in your life and it was a pleasure having you here
he said shaking my hand.

ashley:thank you again for this opportunity
i said getting up.

mr.cary:your very welcome ashley
he said.

i continued on with my day and with all of my classes.

i soon got home.

ashley:hey mum
i said walking through the door.

mom:hey, i here your leaving thursday

ashley:yeah, it's because the semester starts on monday and they want me there so i can start with everyone else

mom:yeah that's fine, you have to start packing

ashley:yup im going to do that later tonight

mom:okay, ill be down here making dinner

ashley:okay
i said walking upstairs.

i got into my room and started doing my homework.

today i had to write a essay, i hated writing them. it always took my like two hours just to write a few paragraphs. I put my airpods in and started writing.

i eventually finished all of my homework and decided to start packing.

i couldn't pack up my whole room so i started with things that would remind of home and things that were really important to me. then i went through my clothes and packed a couple of things that i knew i would need.

i decided to just pack most of the necessities, because i could always go shopping when i got there.

i was not even close to finishing up but i got tired so i left the rest for me to do later tonight or whenever i got a chance.

i had dinner and then went back upstairs to pack up some more. i could only take two big suitcases so i had to make everything fit somehow...
