Aliyah's Teddy Bears.

Chapter 5

Victor came inside the room. William stood up. "I'm really sorry," Victor told them both, "I just lost it." He looked over at her. "I am truly sorry. I have a crush on you. That's why I got so upset." She walked over and hugged him. "Ali," William was scared about Victor being around Aliyah. "Will," she said with innocent eyes. He understood and nodded. "Do you mind if I have a little convo with uh.." He points to her stomach. "No go ahead," she smiled. He kneeled down. "I'm so sorry little one. I can't wait to be your uncle. I'm sorry if I harmed you. And I'm sorry for hurting your mama." He looked up to Aliyah. He stood up and wiped his face. He left the room leaving the young parents alone.

A month went by, and William wasn't giving Aliyah the attention she needed. She had a total of 146 teddy bears lying around her room. Little kicks would happen here and there from the little girl inside. Aliyah was getting off the bus when she heard loud laughing from a girl that went to the same school, she was across the street. She couldn't believe her eyes. William was sitting next to the girl, and was very close! He was making the red head laugh. She looked away and went home, crying inside. I'm too sensitive. She was now 2 months pregnant and she was changing fast. William is spending most of his time with other girls. I also noticed Victor turning into a jackass.

"Aliyah, wait!" William ran across the street. A car honked at him. "Aliyah!" He ran towards her. He stopped her, "Baby, what's wrong?" He asked. "Nothing I'm fine," she was uptight about certain things. The red head was right behind them. "Who is she?" Asked the other woman. "I'm his girlfriend," said Aliyah. "Oh nice to meet you. I'm Terry, one of William's childhood friends," Terry held out her hand to shake hands. They shook hands. "I'm Aliyah, like I said," she pointed at William, "his girlfriend." She told her. "I better go," Terry took off. She stared at William. "She seems nice. Well I got to go, bye." She was mad inside. "Here," he held out another teddy bear. She grabbed it and said, "I love you Will." He smiled and replied, "Ditto." She walked away, still upset.

Victor agreed the next day to help Aliyah with organizing the her bedroom to the baby room. Aliyah got home from her incident and went upstairs to her room. I can't believe that man! She looked at the picture of them together taken the previous year that lied on her desk. She than looked down at her stomach. "He will take care of you," she rubbed her tummy lightly, speaking to the baby. Victor came in. "Oh hi," she looked down at the floor. "Is this a bad time?" He asked. "No, it's perfect timing," she went silent, "Ok let's get to work!"

After a few hours and breaks, they went to the famous downtown stop, the Milkshake Bust.
They sat down and wouldn't stop talking about the little baby inside Aliyah's stomach. "I just can't wait for that little baby." Victor smiled. "Me too, I need help finding a name for her," she rubbed her tummy, "I wanted the name to mean something." He laughed. "Well no der. Don't you like Greek mythology?" He asked. She thought.
"Yeah, what does that have to do with anything?"
"Well name her one of the goddess names." He took a long sip of his strawberry shake.
She stirred hers. "Like Aphrodite?" She asked. "Your choice." She stared outside. Why not something else? "That's it!" She leaped up from the chair.
"What?"
"Athena. That's what I'll call her. Athena Furtado."
He grinned. "What a beautiful name."

4 months went by and Athena's room was already finished. Aliyah's stomach kept just getting bigger and bigger. William got a job at a restaurant. He got about $830 per month. He would complain about not liking his own brother around Aliyah, but she complained about him being to friendly to other woman. "Oh my gosh, I can't believe tomorrow is my birthday! July 6th, Miss Aliyah Furtado is going to be 18. And just 5 months ago I found out I was pregnant." She was too excited she hardly was able to contain herself. "Yeah, I have something in mind for you." William winked. Oh god, I hope it's nothing shitty. "Well I can't wait." She tapped his nose. "I have to go get something from the store, be right back. Love you," he kissed her and was off. Let's go find myself an outfit for tomorrow!
