Aliyah's Teddy Bears.

Chapter 11

"Are you ok young lady?" The UPS driver asked. He was overweight, wearing his uniform but with a Dodger cap. He had fear in his eyes. Aliyah couldn't be more mad then him. "Get the fuck away from me! You killed William!!" She screamed, still holding his lifeless body. "The police are coming so please hang on." He went back into his truck and sat there, scared half to death. Aliyah kept crying. She suddenly started singing. "The first time. . . ever I saw your face," She ran her fingers through his hair, "I felt the sun. . . rose in your eyes!" She had to stop, she couldn't bare the pain that grew in her heart. She ran her fingers through his hair. "I'm so sorry." Aliyah said.

Today is the day. Aliyah got ready in her black dress and dressed Victoria in her outfit. "Dada?" Victoria put her hands up. Aliyah turned around, stunned. "Dada is going to be away for a while baby." Aliyah wiped her face. She drove the 67 impala to the funeral.

After many tears and prayers, the pastor called Aliyah to come up to say her last words to William. "Many of you know me, many of you don't. I'm Aliyah Furtado. I was William Neeson's girlfriend. William and I were close, very close," Aliyah took a moment, "I still remember when I first laid eyes on him, when I first hugged him, when I first kissed him, and when I first held his hand. Almost one year ago, I had a little miracle into the world. William and I had a baby. He fell in love with our baby. I remember him playing baseball with his friends and the baby laughing. He grabbed her and started playing with her. Getting the bat and pretending she was playing the game. It reminded me of the movie 'Sandlot'. Always outside, having a good time, teaching the new kid baseball. William made a lot of mistakes in life, but I forgave each and every one of them," Aliyah looked at his coffin behind her, then up as if she was looking at him watching her, "Will, I love you so much. I will miss you dearly. And I can't wait to be reunited with you, oh that one sweet day will come eventually." Aliyah was sobbing.

After the funeral, she went home. She entered her room and looked at the giant teddy bear he gave her the day if his death. She grabbed it and hugged it. *I love you Aliyah!* She stared at the giant toy. Was that William's voice? Did I just hear his voice being played through a doll? She squeezed it again. *I love you Aliyah!* It was definitely his voice. She looked for the switch when she found a little box. She opened it to find a diamond ring inside. He was going to propose? She cried harder. She grabbed the other dolls and each one said *I love you Aliyah!* She had 457 dolls saying *I love you Aliyah!* but one had a ring with it. "Wow I was about to be a Mrs. Aliyah Neeson but I screwed it up!"
