It was 2 o'clock in the morning when Aliyah got the news. There was nonstop pounding on the door. She quickly put on a robe and answered the door. It was William. "I have news," you could have tell that he was angry and sad at the same time. "Is it about..." She trailed off. "Let's go, put on a jacket and jeans. It's cold out," he said to her. He went speeding to his house. Outside his house was the police, fire department, and the ambulance. "What's going on?" She demanded. A policeman walked over. "Do you know Victor Neeson ma'am?" The policeman asked. "Of course, tell me what happened please," she was terrified. "Well William Neeson told us that Victor ran inside, went to the kitchen and overdosed on heroin. As what William explained, he told William to tell someone named Aliyah that he loves her and loves William. Are you Aliyah?" the policeman had a weird expression on his face. "Yes sir, I'm Aliyah Furtado," she held back tears. He went back to the house but turned around and said, "He is being rushed to the hospital, I'm sorry for the incident." He wandered away. Aliyah felt sick and started sobbing.

After about 45 minutes since Aliyah left William's house and went to her own to cry uncontrollably, Victor Neeson died. William, his mother, Aliyah, her mother, and his family never stopped and smiled. They were devastated to hear that their 16 year old relative passed away. Aliyah stayed in her room the whole week. "Victor went missing the day before my birthday and he died the day after it. Well Happy Birthday to me." She was still crying over Victor. William came in her room. "Hey," he said. He hasn't been talkative like how he was. It's probably because of his brother. "Hi," she turned her face away to whip her wet mascara off her face. "I wanted to bring you something." He handed her a teddy bear. "Squeeze it," he told her. She did and it didn't do anything. "Maybe it's broken," he said, "it was working earlier. Try again later." She wiped her face. "What is it suppose to do?" She asked. "Victor left a message inside and when you squeeze it, a message was suppose to be played." He wiped his own tears.

After about 3 1/2 months, Aliyah was in labor. After the wails from Aliyah, her daughter was born. In the room, she held her baby. "What's her name?" One of the nurses asked. "I want it to be Victoria. For Victor," she looked up at her boyfriend, who couldn't bear to hear the name Victor. "Victoria is beautiful," William finally said. "So that is what her name shall be, Victoria Rose Furtado."

Victoria was a cute baby. She looked a lot like her daddy. Whenever her mother said boo, she giggled. Victoria was curious about everything. She would go on the floor and just examine her toys. She didn't cry at night or fuss for attention, she was like the perfect baby. She would wake up in the middle of the night because of her full diaper. William would always wake up, change the baby, and sang to her. He loved the song The First Time Ever I Saw your Face by Roberta Flack. He would sing it to her, dance with her, and hold her like how a dad should do it. Every morning, Aliyah would find both if them asleep on the couch. "Yep, she is a daddy's girl!" She told herself.
