Aliyah's Teddy Bears.

Chapter 6

The next day, Aliyah got in the outfit she bought the previous day. She wore a beautiful pink dress with white damask and had a jean jacket but it didn't have sleeves. She also had pink flip flops. She slowly went downstairs to have her breakfast. Her mother made a waffle that was in the shape of the Eiffel Tower and the strawberries on the plate were in the shape of flowers. The whip cream were in the shape of clouds next to the waffle. It was almost too pretty to eat!

William called and left a message for Aliyah. This was the message:
Happy Birthday Ali! Your finally 18 and in just 2 weeks I will too. Later I will drop something off. Hope you have a good day. Bye.

Around 4 o'clock, she went outside for some fresh air, and there was a note that came with roses. Oh William these are gorgeous! She opened the note. "Here is another teddy bear, wait for me outside your house." She read out loud. She waited and finally William came strolling up in his '67 Chevy impala.
"Get in birthday girl. I'm going to take you to where we first met."
"Fine." She hopped in.
"How is she?"
"Athena is fine. Her kicks come here and there but nothing major."
"That's good to know."
Silence fell upon them.
When they arrived at Lovers Swamp, Aliyah's world was flipped upside down.

"There is something you should know." A tear rolled down William's cheek. "What?" She was scared. "Victor went missing last night." He cried. She hugged him and started crying too. "He left a note for you," he said as he pulled out a piece of paper.
"Hi Aliyah. It's your best friend, Victor Neeson. I'm sorry for leaving. You will find out soon. In one of the teddy bears William gave you, a message is inside. I love you like a sister. I would do anything for you," she stopped to cry softly but than continued, "Give Athena my love for me. Always from the heart, Victor." He signed a heart by his name. She cried and cried. And so did William. "Where is he?" She asked. "I don't know, he only left that." William wiped his eyes. He handed her a teddy bear. "I love you," she told him with a faint smile. "Ditto," and left her in the swamp with just a teddy bear and a broken heart. Great, 398 teddy bears are going to be sold soon.
