----- February 1, 1945 - Austrian Alps-----

Two years have gone by and most of it spent attacking HYDRA facilities or rescuing soldiers trapped behind enemy lines. I'm almost eleven, and I still haven't told anyone.

Two years since I first got my powers. Yes, you heard right, Powers. Not abilities. What Steve has are abilities or enhancements. I, on the other hand, can see through walls for starters, see and hear over distances, and have skin that can deflect bullets.

I wouldn't be surprised if there was more.

Currently me and the boys were stationed on a cliffside. Steve, Bucky, and I were standing at the edge. Bucky down over the edge and says to Steve, "Remember when I made you ride the Cyclone at Coney Island?"

"Yeah and I threw up?"

"This isn't payback, is it?" Bucky asks, looking up to the zipline leading down to a set of train tracks.

Steve looks back at him and smiles, "Now why would I do that?"

From behind us, Gabe looks up from a stolen HYDRA transceiver, "We were right, Dr. Zola's on the train. HYDRA dispatch just gave him permission to open up the throttle. Wherever he's goin they must need him bad."

The others start getting their stuff ready and grab their pulleys to zip down. I look out into the distance following the tracks, seeing the HYDRA train speeding down.

"We better get movin, they'll be here shortly," I grab one of the pulleys and stand next to Bucky.

Steve gets his onto the wire as the train gets closer, "We only got a ten second window. You miss that window, we're bugs on a windshield."

As soon as Steve finishes, he jumps. Then Bucky soon after with me just behind.

Moving through the air like this, feels.. liberating. I could get used to it.

Soon enough, the train is just below us and we drop one by one. We crouch along the top to a compartment with a door on the side and enter after climbing down a ladder.

We carefully make our way down the compartment when the door between the two closes on Bucky. Gun fire comes from behind Bucky, as a man with two gigantic guns come out in front of Steve and I. The guns start emitting a high pitched and started glowing blue. Steve and I quickly duck behind cover to the sides.

"Thought you were bulletproof?" Steve yells over to me. And the man shoots two shots just past us.

I point at the hole that just appeared after the man shot, "Those look like bullets to you? Ain't takin that risk."

Steve just smiles and throws me his shield as he opens fire on the man. I run and throw the shield at him. Catching it in time to deflect a shot. I run into him full force as he slams into the door behind him and onto the ground.

I throw the shield back to Steve. I lift the gun the man had and shot at the first door between us and Bucky. I follow Steve to the second door.

Steve opens the second door and throws his gun to Bucky. He runs into the room and slams into a case in the center rack causing it to go flying back. As soon as the guy that was firing at Bucky move out of the way, he get a bullet from Bucky to the head.

"I had him on the ropes," Bucky quickly states.

I come up behind them, "Sure you did."

A high pitched hum came from behind as Steve yells, "Get Down!!" He pulls up his shield as a shot gets fired from the other compartment. We all go flying as the side of the train is bent open.

Bucky gets up first, grabbing Steve's shield and firing at the man. But the man fires again, sending Bucky flying out the train and onto the part that's hanging on the side. Steve and I quickly shoot up.

Steve runs to Bucky's aid, as I run head first into the man shooting. I run into him knocking him over. I stand over him and give him a solid hard punch to the head, denting his helmet.

I run back over to the others, seeing Bucky hanging off a pole to the side. I grab Steve's arm as he dangles out the side, he reaches his hand to Bucky, "Grab my hand!"

Bucky reaches out as the pole he's hanging on gives in and falls off the side taking Bucky with it. I pull Steve back in and try to jump out to Bucky, But Steve grabs me before I can make it out.

"Y/N, He's gone"

----- February 4, 1945 - London, England-----

Steve and I were in a ruined Whip and Fiddle. I was sitting with my head lying on the table, as Steve was trying to drink.

I hear footsteps and look up to see Peggy walking in.

Steve pours himself another drink, "Dr. Erskine said the serum wouldn't just effect our muscles, It would effect our cells. Create a protective system of regeneration and healing, even more so for Y/N, which means um.. we can't get drunk. Did you know that?"

Peggy pulls up a chair next to us, "Your metabolisms burns at least four times faster then the average person. He thought it could be one of the side effects."

I take the bottle from Steve and drink directly from it. I may be extremely underage but it's not like it'll do anything.

"It wasn't either of your faults," she tells us.

"Did you read the report?" I ask her.

"Yes"

I scoff, "Then you know that's not true."

"You both did everything you could," She replies, "Did you believe in your friend? Did you respect him? Then stop blaming yourselves, allow Barnes the dignity of his choice. He must have damn well thought you two were worth it."

Steve puts his drink down, "We're going after Schmidt. We're going to burn out every hole there is for him to hide in. And we're not going to stop until he and all of Hydra are captured."

I throw the bottle I had behind me, "Or dead."
