Prologue: Come And Get Your Love

----- August 1st, 2014 - Somewhere in the 'Deep Down Dark Deep Down'  -----

A blur soars around front of a Blue Giant star.

It comes to a stop to reveal Y/N, sitting cross-legged while facing the star with his eyes closed. He was wearing extremely normal clothes for someone flying around through space.

He holds out his palm towards the burning blue star. His ring sits on his middle finger. Though the material looks different.. new.

He takes a deep breath.

His right ear twitches.

His eyes shoot open..

"..Listen..."

----- August 1st, 2014 - Morag -----

A man is seen walking through the winds and dust storm on the surface of Morag.

He wears a helmet with glowing red eyes.

Rain starts pouring down heavily.

The man pulls out a device and smacks it. A blue light emits from the tip of it, showing a holographic video of a civilization that used to inhabit the world. It outlines a specific building that is now run down in front of him.

He makes his way towards it.

As he reaches the doorway, the holographic video shows a kid playing with her dog. He turns it off and steps through the giant doorless entrance.

The man hits a button on the back of his helmet, causing it to disappear.

This mans name was Peter Quill.

Quill looks around the dilapidated remains of the building. The sound of water dripping echoes through the silence.

He reaches into his pocket and pulls out a Sony TPS-L2 Walkman.

He puts the headphones on and attaches the Walkman to his belt. After rewinding the tape, he hits play.

First comes the drums.

And then the bass.

Peter starts nodding along as he starts walking. As soon as the guitar joins in, he does a quick hip thrust.

Peter leans on one foot and kicks out the other as he waves his arms to the song.

"Hail (Hail), what's the matter with your head, yeah"

As he walks through a puddle, Peter kicks some of the water up and does a little spin. He dances foward a few feet and notices a few Orloni, rodent-like creatures, fighting amongst each other.

"Hail (Hail), what's the matter with your mind
And your sign an-a, oh-oh-oh"

Peter kicks the Orloni as they run at him to the beat of the lyrics. Another Orloni jumps up onto a rock just next to his face. It goes to jump at him, but he grabs it and holds it like a microphone.

He lip-syncs along to the song.

"Hail (Hail), nothin' the matter with your head
Baby find it, come on and find it"

He throws the Orloni away and does a spin with his arms out as he walks. A few more gather on a rock a few feet away and just stare at him. The little rodent creatures were probably confused.

"Hail, with it, baby, 'cause you're fine
And you're mine, and you look so divine"

Peter walks up to a headless skeleton. He looks at it and spins it around.
