Sidharth's P.O.V.
Nikhil lost a lot of blood. Gita had to donate some of her blood which caused her to get weaker. I see her laying on the hospital bed fast asleep. I feel like kissing her. I mean can you get me wrong? She is the most beautiful girl I've ever seen. Prettier the Pari and Shraddha. I feel asleep with my head on the edge of the bed.I woke up with Gita's hand on my head and my head in her lap. She must have gotten up. I look up and see Gita smiling,"Hi sleepyhead." She runs her hand through my hair. Oh man that would have felt better if we were kissing. The doctor comes in the room,"The patient would like to see you, Gita." I help Gita get off the bed and support her when she walked. As I walk in Nikhil's room he tells me that he needs some privacy. By the time Gita comes out of the room she is crying. She runs down the empty hallway to the parking lots. Gita is already in the car as silent as ever. At one of the stop lights she finally speaks,"Nikhil Abhimanyu Singhania will be cremated today at noon." My jaw drops and my eyes widen,"Why didn't you tell me this before? Gitangali I am so sorry." She holds in the urge to cry,"There is nothing to be sorry about. Bhaiya has taught me a valuable lesson. Now please let's just go home." She turns her head to face the window. I take her hand in mine,"I'm here for you and that will never change. I will be your best friend and will be there whenever you need me."
Everyone is mourning for the death of Nikhil by the time we get home. People were dressed in white. I was surprised that Siddharth even showed up. "Gita! There you are," her mother sobbed. She gave Gita a hug but she didn't budge,"What happened? What's wrong? Who killed my child, your brother? Your real best friend." Gita held her tears in as the fire raged in her when she pointed to Siddharth,"He is the one. The betrayer. The one I thought would be a better friend." There were gasps and murmurs and Gita's mother's eyes widen,"You can speak?" Gita sighed,"I really didn't want to speak to anybody. I was really depressed. I felt that if I actually didn't have much to say my depression would go away. But now it's back because of that ass over there." And she glares once again at Siddharth. Siddharth glares right back at her and leans on the wall with his arms crossed. "Alright then beti, get changed for the cremating ceremony." I watch Gita as she walks up the stairs. Right there and then I wanted to insult Sidhharth for putting shame on the Dhawan family name and my first name. For wanting such a disgusting revenge.
