The night air sent a chill across the majority of the states. The stars brightened the forrest illuminating the the leaves upon the branches. It was all calm except for the large meteor hurdling towards the forrest.
It moved so quick, that fire began to emit off the meteor. For it truly was quite a site.
The meteor hit the Earth making a loud boom. Anything under was crushed. Many trees had fallen and the wildlife were trapped between them.
The meteor began to glow. A light purple was the color glowing off of it. A wave of this purple light was sent across the majority of the United States Of America.
All across the nation the power of many homes and businesses went out. Cars stopped driving. Planes fell down. The states were dark.
Five minutes later the power turned back on. Everyone tried to comprehend what had happened. Many had died. Many cried. Few were not affected. Some, however, were affected more than others.
That was October 8. By October 10, the majority moved on. And so the next day was just another day...... For most.
