I'm not sure if the song fits the chapter but I was listening to it when I was cooking lol Enjoy!

( Harry's POV )

"Thank you. That was good." Louis says. We finished eating a couple of my homemade chocolate chip cookies. Mom, Gemma and Niall went back down to the bakery. "You know, I never would have guessed that you were such a good cook and baker, Harry."

"To be honest, that's about all I can do." I shrug. I'm not sure if I'll be good at writing songs or anything, but at least I'll always have cooking and baking. I pick up my glass of milk and finish drinking it. From the corner of my eye, I can see Louis writing down something in his diary. I finish my milk and place the cup back down on the table. "Uh, is this something special or do you always write down what you eat?"

He looks up at me and says "Yes. My diet needs to be nutritionally balanced." He looks back down at his diary and speaks what he writes down next. "I think that today's lunch was a perfect ten."

I look at him surprised. "A...ten?"

He nods."Today's breakfast was a four and last night's dinner was about a seven."

"Is that like a rating?" I ask nervously. I hope he doesn't think my food is bad.

"There's so many meals, it's hard to manage. So I use a simple point system. It may sound strange, but it makes it easier for me."

"Kind of intimidating for the chef." I stand up and take our empty glasses and go over to the sink and place them in there. I turn around and cross my arms and lean against the kitchen sink. "So....can you cook, Louis?"

"Well yeah, technically I can." He looks at me and frowns. "But I would never wanna eat anything I make."

"Huh?" I turn my head slightly and look at him confused.

"I'm afraid our family and making food aren't very compatible." He chuckles.

"In other words, you're lousy cooks?" I shake my head and laugh. I guess Mr Payne isn't a good cook. I walk over to Louis and sit next to him. "I'm gonna teach you how to cook tonight." He looks at me and smiles. I give him a wink.

Through out the rest of the day, we spent it at the bakery helping out my mom and Gemma make bread and pastries. Niall had already gone home, probably to spend time with his lady friend.

I showed Louis the big and small ovens. The pantry stocked up with flour, baking soda, sugar, salt and every other ingredient you need for baking. He was so surprised and amazed seeing a 50lbs bag of sugar.

"Hey Louis, you want to try to put icing on some cupcakes?" I mix together some confectioners sugar, butter, vanilla extract, milk and salt for the frosting. "What's your favorite color Louis?"

"Um....blue, why?"

I pick up blue food coloring from the counter and show it to him. "These cupcakes will be yours, so I wanted to dye the frosting to your favorite color, Lou." I add a couple of drops of blue food coloring into the mix and mix it together. When it's done, I grab a piping bag from the drawers, with a star piping tip in it, and put some frosting it in and close it.

"Here." I grab Louis' hand and place the piping bag with the frosting inside, on his hand. I hand him a vanilla cupcake too.

"Okay. Um....what do I do now?" He looks at the two things in front of him, not sure what to do next.

"Just squeeze the bag, a little bit, on the cupcake, til there's some frosting on it and then pull up quickly."

"Okay." He places the cupcake on the counter and does what I say but manages to put frosting on the cupcake and on his hand. I shake my head and let out a small laugh. "Like this, Louis."
