Lucy's dress
6 months after Damian's death
Third person POV

There wall a party at Wayne Manor. The doors to all of the Manor were open to everyone in Gotham. Barry,Kal,Lois, Diana, Arthur,Victor were all there waiting on Lucy. This was Lucy's first official public appearance since Damian's death. She had to look spectacularly. This night all eyes were on her. Lucy finally felt ready to publicly present herself again she wasn't going to be a sad widow to the people anymore.
Lois was helping her with her final touches.
Lois has been a huge reason for Lucy's improvement. She helped Lucy take huge steps while she was grieving. Lucy stopped wearing her wedding ring. Her father said it would make her stronger. Lois though otherwise. She took the ring into a jewelry shop and made the ring into a necklace using every piece of her wedding ring.
"Ok I'm ready." Lucy said with a shaky sigh running her hands over her dress.
"One more thing." Lois said running to her bag and grabbing a white box. She sat Lucy down in front of her vanity and spinned her around so she would be facing the mirror.
Kal walked into the room; he was just waiting outside for Lucy to change.
Lucy looked at her aunt with a questionable face. Lois smiled at her with tears forming in her eyes.
Kal came and moved Lucy's hair to the side giving Lucy a kiss on the head. Lois opened the box revealing the necklace to kal and herself not letting Lucy see.

She took the necklace out gently. Pulls it over Lucy's neck and places it down gently. Both kal and lois looked in the mirror to see Lucy's reaction.
Lucy was confused for a brief moment until she saw the stone. She could recognize that stone from a mile away. Lucy gasped. Tears began forming in her eyes.
Lois ties her necklace together and kal let's go of her hair.
They both place a hand on each of Lucy's shoulder still looking at the mirror. Lucy reaches up to grab the stone.
"Don't ever let them tell you how you should grieve." She inhales and exhales loudly. She stands up and embraces her uncle and aunt.
"Thank you ." Was all she could say. They left her speechless.
Kal and Lois hold her tightly.
"Are you ready?" Barry says knocking on the door. "Everyone is waiting for you." They all pull away quickly and collect themselves. Lucy looks down and cleans up her tears.
"Yeah! Yeah I'll be right down." She smiles. Barry nods and walks downstairs.
"We'll wait for you downstairs." My uncle and aunt made their way downstairs. I sighed deeply and grabbed my phone to make a call.
"Lucy I've been expecting your call." I hear a womans voice.
"Are they here?" I simply ask.
"Yes the subjects are at the Manor." My blood boiled.
"Thank you Sofia." I said before hanging up.
Let's get this party started shall we.

After what felt like hours hearing about people feeling bad for me and how much they respect me for what I'm going through. My cheeks started to hurt from all the smiling.
People thank God stopped talking to me and stopped staring at me. I could finally breath. I felt watched for hours everyone thinking unas going to break down at any moment in time.
Pleaseeeeeee I was raised and taught to hide my feelings from the world ever since I was a child. That's the one good thing apart from my education, that the fucking exclusively private school taught me. I'm definitely not giving Gotham a show. I put on my best smile and walked over to Barry to start a conversation.
