Chapter 7~

"How is he doing Doctor? Is he fine? Why did he faint? There wasn't any bleeding!"

"Mr.Ishaan is fine now, we have drained out the clotted blood from the veins and bandaged his head properly Sir. Since there was no external wound or bleeding, stitches hasn't been performed. He fainted because of internal bleeding."

"Can he play in the upcoming series Doc?"

"Yeah sure, there's time for it and he'll be fit by then hopefully."

"Thank you!"

The doctor nodded and walked away to attend another O.T, while Hardik walked up towards the waiting zone and sat beside Samadrita.

"What's the update?"Sama asked.

"He's fine now. Do one thing, go home and visit Kartik's place on the way and tell everyone else not to panic, especially to Kartik. He wanted to come along but I stopped him,"Hardik replied.

"I know right! It's his party he should be there. Anyways, Rahul went to attend an important call. He will be back in a minute or two."

"Yeah fine. We'll complete the formalities and come home. The morning visiting time is also about to end. Have you informed Ishu's parents?"

"Yes Maan did it already. I'll inform them that he's fine now. They must be panicking as well, they're out of Mumbai right now. Anyways, do call me up if something is needed,"Sama said and then nudged him and pointed towards Shriya who was sitting in a corner at a distance and crying.

"Take her along!"

"Harry! I don't think she would leave without seeing Shaan for once."

"It's because of her Ishu is in this condition."

"Shhh! Don't be a kiddo. She didn't invited those guys to hit him."

"But why was she leaving from the party in a fiery mood? Ishu followed her, one of the man at that place was saying."

"It's their personal matter dear, we should stay away from it unless asked to interfere."

Hardik nodded and Sama stood up. Shriya was lost in her own thoughts when she felt a tap on her shoulder. She looked behind to find Sama standing beside her.

"Let's go Shriya. Shaan is fine now. He's sleeping. The visiting hours will start from evening again."

"Di! Just once. I want to see him once. Please,"Shriya pleaded.

"He's sleeping now dear. By evening he will be awake. Come and meet him then. Moreover he has not been shifted to the normal cabin yet."

"This is my fault. All these happened because of me. If I wouldn't have left from the party like that then Ishan wouldn't have followed me up, neither would have received that wound,"Shriya cried again.

Samadrita sighed and sat beside her. "It's not your fault.....Go and see him from the see through glass of the Observation Room 01,"she said and Shriya nodded and hurried towards the Observation Room.

She stood infront of the door and peeped into the room through the glass. Ishaan was unconscious, but it seemed like he was sleeping peacefully. "You always deprive me of my peace and have all the peace for yourself,"she whispered looking at him with tearful eyes.

"Khushi! The launch party has been postponed to coming weekend, because there has been a sudden crisis,"Janvi said while shuffling through her wardrobe.

"I know! I read a media article just now. Ishan Kishan has been wounded. It's so sweet to see these guys behaving like a family at times,"Khushi said.

Janvi chuckled and said,"come on Khushi, you really think that a fashion school launch party has been cancelled just because someone from the Cricket team got wounded? Am damm sure the arrangements have not been up to the mark and that's why it has been rescheduled."

"I don't think so Janvi. I don't know whether you have noticed or not, the bonding between the team is great, even outside the field. And coming to the event. Well the ones who will he hosting the event considers Ishan as one of their family members. So it's very much obvious that they won't be able to enjoy the party if he remains at the hospital,"Khushi protested and walked up to the balcony.

She knew it very well that Janvi is neither a Cricket fan nor is she empathetic. But Khushi has her own belief regarding the team and their extended family, and Janvi can never afford to shatter those beliefs with her so called practical talks. Khushi knows how much she has yearned for a family like that.....and for Rishabh. She had her own struggles. Her patriarchal family must be searching for her, on a second thought she also thought about not attending the event as if by any chance she gets flashed in front of her family through the media, then her life will be over.

But, the eagerness she has for meeting Rishabh is overpowering her fear of getting exposed. All she knows is that she has to meet him at least for once in her life.

Writers block! Writers block! Takes a great deal of effort to get over it. Anyways, I cannot say whether am back or not. Depends on my mood and writing spree. Moreover, am quite busy with my ongoing professional course. But yeah, will try to find some time in jotting down chapters or mini chapters.
