It was almost midnight when Arshita got a call from an unknown number. She rejected the call and immediately the notification sound beeped in her phone. She checked it to find a text from the same number, saying-
"Shubman Gill has been kidnapped by us. If you want to see him alive then reach the abandoned Derelict buildings at Kingcross in half an hour.
From-
An Unknown Enemy"Arshita's heart missed a beat or two. She tried calling the person many times but the number was unreachable now. She then called Ishaan who said in a panicked tone,"Arshu! I'll call you back later. We are in trouble." Shreyas said from the other side,"Ishu! Let's go, or else we will lose Shubhman forever!" Ishan disconnected the call immediately and Arshita sat down while getting much more scared than she already was.
She immediately took her purse and ran out while making a call to Shriya, whose phone was switched off. She cried in frustration while running through the streets, searching for a cab or anything which will take her to Maan as soon as possible.
Miraculously she found a taxi which stopped infront of her on it's own and she got inside while shouting,"Kingcross Derelict Building!" The driver started driving as directed, while Arshita kept praying for Maan.
By the time she reached Kingcross, she ran out of the taxi while keeping whatever money she had in her purse. She ran into the abandoned building calling Shubhman again again.
"Where are you Shubh? Please response!"she shouted. She heard the sound of footsteps and looked down from the balcony to find a guy in black hoodie walking towards the adjacent building. "Hey you! Wait!"she shouted before running down the stairs and running towards the guy.
By the time she reached the other building, the guy had disappeared. She looked around trying to locate any trace of Shubman or the kidnappers, but sees nothing but darkness and dimly lit streets.
Suddenly someone covers her mouth with a hand and she tries to scream. With the strength with which the person was pulling her out of the building, she could easily understand that the person is a male and that he was quite strong. She tried to kick him but failed miserably as the very next moment she gets sweeped off her feet and the black hoodied guy carried her on his shoulder while walking out into the street.
"What the hell! Who are you? Put me down or else..."she started shouting when suddenly he kept her down and asked,"or else?"
Arshita stared without even blinking for a second while Shubman pulled behind the hoodie and smiled at her with his dimples getting highlighted even under the dim street light.
"Shubh!"Arshita almost cried while giving him a tight hug. Maan hugged her back while his smile widened much more.
"You were scared right?"he asked while looking at her.
"Obviously I was! Who plays this type of prank?"Arshita asked while hitting him.
"What to do? This was the only way to bring you to me. You were not answering my phone calls, not replying to my texts. So I made this plan and included all the boys in it. Ishaan switched off Shriya's phone on time, I don't trust your sister. She would have told you everything,"Maan said.
Arshita frowned while asking,"you made this plan? Really? Hardik Bhai is injecting a bad influence on you." Maan chuckled while replying,"even Di knows about this plan. Anyways, come with me. Will you? Please!"
He extended his hand towards her and she asked,"why were you roaming with Shanaya today? We were waiting for you Shubh!" Maan ran his fingers through his hair while replying in a frustrated tone,"I am so sorry Arshu! I wanted to come to you and I had brought a big bouquet of pink roses, and I had planned so many things for us but...."he went on explaining everything to her.
