Chapter-2
If there would be an Oscar for the 'Host of the Century', Antalia surely win by strike, literally. Because the amount of time has faked smiled in past fifteen minutes is miracle. Is there any gunnies' book world record of most smiles thrown? She has to look that one up, might get something out of this ordeal.
"Aren't you curious about why I am here" Ore Williamson said his minions flanking at his side or more like seated in protective manner as if someone will soon strike him. Though, the idea is tempting even her wold is incited by the idea itself but she is in no mood to paint her hands crimson.
"Well" Antalia said her own members seated around her "I wouldn't want to take your once in a lifetime opportunity away." A smiled too sweetly at him
Antalia could easily sense she repulsed them with her little not so harmful comment. Although, she can easily repulse them further with flick of her fingers but, she needs them out of her land quickly. Antalia knows their purpose very well. But, she didn't like him playing her like that.
"Don't you know?" One of his loyal minions Javier growled at me "whom you are speaking too?"
Her pack mates were ready to throw them out by then but, Antalia just smirked at loyal novice wolf "and don't you know showing your canines at an alpha, on their land is challenge itself" her eyes flashed a little "I reckon council head might have educated you on the pack mannerism"
Antalia was not calm but, she has to keep the façade for the while "well if not" her eyes skimmed at the council head himself "I don't mind jogging your memory a bit" the ever the passive, calm and collected Ore Williamson, eyes narrowed at her but in blink of an eye he was what his reputation proceeded him, cold.
"enough" Elena spoke for the first time her electrifying hazel orbs clashed with mine and diverted to the hot headed, fuming Javier "we are not here to anger the alpha" her voice was loud and clear indication to her fellow members and skilfully reminding them. Why they are here in first place?
"Finally a voice of reason" Antalia murmured but knew they heard her just fine.
A blanket of silence falls on them. Antalia could only think of one thing, uncomfortable. Their presence often made her question their role in their society. Although, they considered themselves as law makers of their world but, to Antalia they were anything but lawmakers. They are pest working for their own greed.
Finally, the man of the hour spoke "you might already guess the reason, why are we here?" Ore Williamson retorted.
One thing Ore Williamson loves is coaxing answer from others especially, when they don't know they are unconsciously narrating him; what he wants from them. Yet, he could never move past her and that pissed the little old Council head to no end.
"Enlighten me" Antalia played along his little game of chase.
Ore Williamson, ear twitched in annoyance "you never change" he commented
"Something's are just hard to change"
"Yet, you have to accustomed to change"
"Your point council head"
"My point" Ore Williamson hummed "don't you already know" thinking he got her trapped in his oh so meaningful conversation.
"I know many things, council head" Antalia conversed "where you want to start?" she knew, she got him there. Because, he knew what she is hinting at? Everyone has some darkness on them that they want to fabricate it for world to never know. Though, it never hides for too long.
