Antalia has been searching for this particular book in the library for the past hour but was not able to. A lot has to be done in a short time. She had read the book before but couldn't find where she last saw it. It has been years since she last read it.

"Oh goddess where did it go?" Antalia muttered to herself yet kept on searching because she knew she had to have it and re-read all that context about Ananke.

"Antalia we need to talk '' Lucy, her mother interrupted her but Antalia was adamant on finding that book that her mothers words felt deaf to her ears.

"not now" she muttered but her eyes and hand kept on searching.

"Antalia" Lucy stressed and urgency in her voice did register to Antalia through her priority was finding that book.

Before Lucy could utter another word to her daughter she finally found the treasure she wanted.

"found it" glee in her voice was visible you can sense if you can't see.

Antalia swiftly moved to her office with a book in her hand and her mother not far behind trying to talk to her daughter.

"What's going on Antalia?" Lucy asked her again " what are these whispers I hear mean?"

"Mom" Antlia finally addressed her mother as they entered her office "you will know everything just wait a few more minutes."

"A few more minutes," Lucy exclaimed in alarm. " I heard about your visit to the pack doctor last night, the rogues in dungeons and the bonding" she demanded an answer from her daughter and now.

"you mean The Ananke '' Antalia abruptly said cutting her mothers angry rant.

"yes"

"what about it?" Antlaia questioned

"You should know better," Lucy heatedly told her.

"know what"

"You were chosen to protect this pack, protect this place till he is ready for all this and not even the full day he found himself in pack infirmary, bonding with some bunch of rogues." Lucy seethed " so tell me this shouldn't you be the one incharge of these events because you are the acting Alpha for goodness sake."

Antalia was fuming with hurt but she didn't let it show "if that's what you think that you can. but let me tell you this one thing mom, if it wasn't for me what do you think would have happened? if it wasn't for me who would have protected this place after that chaos. You don't know a thing, the hardship i went for this place, for this pack not to grumble at their feet. So don't you dare come here and educate me on how to be an acting Alpha, after all that's all my worth is in your eyes now."

At that very moment a sudden commotion in the middle of her office caught her eyes. A sudden commotion can only be created by only one creature who wont fear for her head beheaded for this very reason.

"join the party" Antlia mumbled over her mother's shoulder

"wrong moment" the icy voice rang in her entire office.

"right time" Antlia mused " when is that? i was waiting for you actually; both of you and eyed her informer who was still stuck in mid air somehow.

"hi" Robert muttered to his Alpha "C'mon Aunty put me down already"

"you used to enjoy it when you were little"

"Yeah when I was four perhaps" Robert whined " but not at twenty four" the sooner the words left his mouth and so did his behind meet the floor.
