Eren X Reader~ The Captain's Godchild

EREN X READER ~ FINALLY REUNITED

Loud galloping awoke (Y/N) from their long slumber, the yells and cheers of the scouts as they leave to meet with family for a few days fills the early morning. Dew set upon the upon the fresh green grass as the sun arose. (Y/N) headed out to feed their horse as it brayed from withing the stall. As they did this they waved off both Mikasa and Armin as they had gone to visit the inner walls as they never experienced it before. At first when Armin suggested to Mikasa that they should go into the inner walls she looked at him shocked as he knew she wouldn't leave Eren. However with Armin and (Y/N) convincing her she did so. As Armin and Mikasa galloped of into the hazy morning, (Y/N) turned to feed their horse and then Levi's as he too was having a rest. (Y/N) headed into the HQ and headed to the mess hall where they ran into Moblit who was cooking his own breakfast for a change instead f Hanji's as he heated some bread over the stove. (Y/N) joined him as they both had toast. Moblit and (Y/N) get on acceptionally well due to their caring and mostly neuteral behaviour compared to their 'bestfriends', who have way to much energy as it is. Hanji is like a crazy scientist and Eren, well he's a titan that is litterally about having determination.
             As both (Y/N) and Moblit sat at the crooked wooden table, two rather loud pairs of foot steps could be heard from throughout HQ due to the stone floors and stone walls. Emerging from the long hallway was Hanji and Eren trying to beat eachother in a race. Alerted Moblit stood ready for any incidents that are about to occur. As Eren's bubbly laugh got closer, (Y/N) felt butterflies in their stomach as they felt a smile set upon their face. As Eren and Hanji approached they both halted as they made eye contact with (Y/N). Eren's face lit up with glee as he made eye contact with (Y/N). Eren sprinted as quick as he could towards them as they stood with open arms. (Y/N) welled up in tears as they exchanged a long hug. As this happened Hanji smiled as they asked ' So did we all miss out or are you guys a thing?' they smirked as both (Y/N) and Eren pushed off eachother with bright red faces as if they'e been in a steam room. Hanji snorted and then Moblit smiled as both Hanji and Eren headed into the kitchen to make their own breakfast as (Y/N) let a huge sigh of relief.
Moblit smiled at them as they bspoke quietly ' i'm way to nervous for this, my issue is i have feelings for him, and i know he does too i'm just hoping that he will eventually get the idea.' Moblit smiled as he looked over and then back at (Y/N) as he said ' you never know maybe he's waiting for the right time, and don't worry about levi, if anything Hanji and Erwin will keep him in tact. (Y/N) nodded and smiled as they aknowledged this and then rested their head on the table.
         Eventually Eren and Hanji joined them with their breakfast. Everyone spoke with eachother, with Hanji mainly babbling on about their titans as everyone sat and listed to them. Eren and (Y/N) often exchanged glances smiling and laughing at Hanji's remarks. Moments like this both (Y/N) and Eren wished would last much longer. As breakfast came to a close everyone began to plan their days including Eren and (Y/N). Their plan consisted of going on the horses around in the training field and having a few races until they both become exhausted, which at that point they plan to sit by the river flowing past HQ. Soon enough Eren bolted towards Levi's room to ask for permision as he was still under his care, to which he agreed with a single grunt in response and then bnoth (Y/N) and Eren headed back to their rooms to get ready.
         (Y/N) began to get showered and dressed into their comfy, casual riding gear and then brushed their hair back and out of their face ready to ride their horse. (Y/N) began to get nervous as they paniked and began to pack a small bag of essentials such as snacks and horse treats and a miniture first aid kit. (Y/N) then headed for their godfather's room to let him know but as soon as they stepped outside the door they found a bag with a flare gun and a lot of flares within it with a note which expressed:
To (Y/N), 
                i hope you enjoy your trip out today with Eren, don't worry if he tries any funny business i wil be straight onto him don't worry. I've left some flares for both you and Eren incase either of you either get split up and lost or both of you are in trouble. Myself and Erwin will be out on the training field so we too will see these flares. Don't you two go having to much fun!

(Y/N) smiled as they left to head out into the crisp cold field to retrieve their horse who again stood within the stalls braying in excitement for the day ahead of them. Not even ten minutes later Eren comes out and heads to his horse and begins to tack his horse up at a similar time to (Y/N). After many convosations later both Eren and (Y/N) where almost ready to set off, as they both mounted they spotted Levi and Erwin waiting by the door to see both of them off on their journey. Eren waved as so did (Y/N), joy settled on both of their faces. Both horses headed for the sunrise as they both galloped away towards it.
