EREN X READER ~ A DAY BY THE LAKE

After a while of riding, (Y/N) and Eren arived at their destination. As they both dismounted, they exchanged smiles as Eren spoke, 'Just through here (Y/N) that lake should still be there.'. (Y/N) nodded and let out a small giggle as they spoke, ' Honestly Eren do you really think that a body of water would of moved or evaporated in only two years?'  they smirked as Eren shrugged at them, clearly embarrassed by his stupidity. They both smiled and laughed it off as Eren led the way. They mae their way through the lush green trees and headed into the middle of the circle of trees. Glistening down, the sun cast a strong reflection across the crystal clear lake. It shocked (Y/N) as they didn't believe anything this beautiful and quiet was left in this dark and cruel world. As the both of them headed to the lake they tied up their steeds and then put down their jackets to sit on the dewy grass. Silence filled the air as they both inhaled the crisp air with a small cloud that followed as they exhaled. As the sun contined to rise the dew became more misty and the atnosphere became more warm.
                Hours went by as (Y/N) and Eren spoke about their past experience that they'd had while being separated. This included Hanji's strengthening and hardening tests on Eren all while (Y/N) was hidden away under covers. Eren also explained how he put up with Levi's extensive cleaning and how strict he was, to which (Y/N) muttered to him ' welcome to the last 13 years of my life' and smirked. Eren smiled as he remebered that Levi had been caring for them for a while now. Eren recalled the first time he ever spoke to Levi about seeing his grandchild to which his response was multiple kicks to the face, and then more beating up in the court later. However Eren now found it better to talk to the captain about it as he recently asked again and to which he was more respectful and layed back.
               Eventually Eren decided to ask about their plans for tommorow. ' Hey (Y/N) are you doing anything tommorow? I was just wondering as i'm free tommorow and i was wondering if you wanted to go to the top of HQ in the evening and star gaze? Hanji said it should be a clear night' a red blush covered both Eren's and (Y/N)'s face as they spoke. ' That sounds great honestly, although in the day we could asways spring clean our rooms considering you do sleep in a basement and it could probably do with a clean? And to be honest i feel like i need to clear my room of some of Petra's things and return them to what family she has left, if you would like to join me and Levi?' they offered to Eren, to which his eyes widened. 'I'd love to, and yeah you're right it is messy.' he smiled ' you are an awful lot like the captian honestly' (Y/N) looked over and smiled as they stood up. ' yeah i know, maybe we should head back? i'm getting fairly hungry as it is and i think Levi might get slightly worried, i mean the sun is slowly setting.'. Both Eren and (Y/N) stood and blushed as they headed for the horses. Soon enough they both mounted their horses and headed back for HQ. Eventually they both made their way back and into the mess hall and as they did so Levi kept his beady dull eyes on Eren as they got food and then headed their own ways back to their rooms for the next day. As they departed Eren hugged (Y/N) and then left a small peck on their cheek and then bolted for the basement leaving a blushing (Y/N) at their door.
