Broken Wall (HTTYD book-movie Crossover)

Author's Note

So this story is a Crossover between the books and the film series of How to Train your Dragon. and it is going to be written much differently from my last book "The King of Dragons"(KoD). This book is going to be a lot less serious and more for fun than the other one was. KoD was fairly serious and written that way on purpose, I wanted to see if I could write a book start to finish. I am very proud of it, But I wanted to try something else too, and not have only that book on my page. So thus came this monstrosity, "Broken Wall."

expect it to be more lighthearted, and include things like fourth-wall-breaking, random author note inserts, and plenty of grammar/spelling/writing errors. Like I said in the author's note of KoD I am not a regular writer, it is more of a side hobby while drawing is my passion. aka why I decided I was going to include drawn pieces into this story! so if I say a chapter is done... it might mean the writing is done, and not the art or lazy editing(I low key just use Grammarly and sort through what is accurate and what is a name).

Also, since I am using Wattpad as my main writing platform you'll be getting 1 chapter at a time! WOOHOO!!!....*someone coughs in the background* . . . a n y w a y- you'll be able to comment things like "bitch wtf is the next chapter we've been waiting 2 months" and I'll probs get my ass back on writing on it. I also apologize in advance for my foul language, it won't be in the main story.

I'd like to also mention my friend and fellow writer! ! they have an amazing book they are writing on HTTYD too! I recommend you read it bc it's really good! (this is also to them bc like hi I hope you still think the story is going to be good-)

but some disclaimers before the actual book starts!

the book characters' time period will be 1 year after the end of the series. So if you don't know the lore of the series... I apologize for the upcoming spoilers. But like... y u here if you haven't listened to the whole series already. It's read by David tenant and he is an amazing voice actor. and it is all on youtube for f r e e.

for the film characters, it is between seasons 4 and 5 of rtte. but if I do make reference to anything discovered after that... I'm sorry that I am mentally incompetent-also if you haven't seen rtte(race to the edge) why are you here? your no tRUE FAN-also you won't understand like...any of this.

oh! also! gimmicks to the book. 

1-- if I ever do 3rd person pov(or author me bc I'm lazy), Book!Fishlegs will go by FL and Film!Fishlegs as fishlegs. But Book!Hiccup will be referred to as "King" while Film!Hiccup will be referred to as "Chief". make-makes sense...? good.

2-- When someone (*cough cough* King *cough cough*) is speaking in Dragonese it will be put in bold, while author notes (mostly at beginning and end but might show up elsewhere) will be bold and italicized as seen.

now that T H A T is all cleared up we should be good! I will have been working on a chapter as of right after this is published! e n j o y.
