Being in a hospital is never fun, period. But there's one thing in this case that seems to make things better; the doctor who visits to check on you more frequently than others. Dr. Kim Namjoon is a totally swoon-worthy cardiac doctor who just happens to be your best friend reunited with you for the first time in two years after an accident threatens to take you away from him again. So naturally, he saves your life. Overjoyed that you've come back to him, his sights are set on only you, because you're his favorite patient. But I think you'll find that Namjoon might be taking advantage of your ill condition just to care for you... Be careful, because a lot can change in two years, especially someone you thought you knew, and most certainly someone who ʜᴀs ᴀ ᴄʀᴜsʜ ᴏɴ ʏᴏᴜ.

~That being said, here is the trigger warning that this book will explore some darker and more mature themes, especially since it is a Yandere AU. This is my first BTS-related fanfic, and I haven't really seen very many Yandere Namjoon x reader ones yet with the time I've been on Wattpad, so I thought it was about time to get one written with the AU I had in mind since I felt inspired, and wanted to try writing on this platform for the first time. Namjoon is my bias, so of course he seemed to best fit the trope I was going for with this story, and I hope to make Yandere Namjoon x reader AU's more popular. I also hope to satisfy those of you RM biased and Joon stans out there, (especially since he's my ulti bias). So, that said, I hope you all enjoy it! After all, literally, what could be hotter than Yandere Dr. Kim Namjoon? As a Namjoon stan, I literally can't think of anything else, so with further ado, please enjoy my take on Yandere Dr. Kim Namjoon.

You stopped my heart the minute I saw you all those years ago, and you revived it when our hearts touched for the first time. And the second, and the third, and the fourth. But unfortunately, now it's your heart that has stopped, so believe me when I say that I will be the one to revive it again. It'll beat in my hands because there is no other way to dive in heart-first.

"Guys, this is my little sister Y/n," Jimin introduces, "I hope you don't mind if she hangs out with us too?"

"Eomma and Appa want her to make some friends so I offered to hang out with her; with us. I hope that's alright?"

"Of course, Jimin! She's always welcome with us! Aww, look at her! Isn't she the cutest?" Seokjin visibly 'awwed' at the cute little girl who hid behind Jimin.

As did Hoseok, Taehyung, little Jungkook, and even a sleepy Yoongi who couldn't be bothered. Yoongi, too, was interested in the sweet little girl who proved to be far more interesting than what was happening in front of him. But one of those young boys was more than just interested in Jimin's sister... Namjoon's nine-year-old self was enamored with the beautiful six-year-old in front of him who just happened to be the younger sister of one of his closest friends, which meant an easy in. Despite Seokjin being the eldest of the group, Namjoon was always the ringleader. Being fascinated with you, Namjoon instantly knew that he wanted to be friends with you.

"H-Hi!" He started nervously, "My name's N-Namjoon, and this is Jin, Yoongi, Hobi, Tae, and JK." He stuck out my hand for you to shake, but you visibly repulsed, hiding behind your older brother until you knew it was safe to come out.

"It's okay, N/n," Jimin tries, attempting to make you feel comfortable, "you can come out from behind there," he then cooed, "These are your friends now too. I promise they'll be nice to you."

Hm. Seeming interested by that promise, you poked your head out from behind Jimin, e/c eyes staring intently into Namjoon's own chocolate ones. Deciding these boys seemed nice enough if Jimin trusted them, you shakily stuck your small hand out for Namjoon to shake in response, taking his own hand in the process, sending him the cutest grin I had ever seen.

It was then in that moment he decided—no, knew that you were the only one for him, and you confirmed it when you accepted his request to be friends, and took his hand.

"N/n, you'll always be my best friend, right?" Little nine-year-old Namjoon asks.

Six-year-old Y/n, Park Jimin's younger sister nods, giggling. "Of course, Joonie!"

"Pinky promise?" He asks, and the younger female nods.

"I love you, Joonie."

Namjoon smiles brightly. "I love you too. Always."
