Chapter-2

"A Case!" he nodded his head and continued, "I was in search of private detectives who can do extremely important work for me. I searched for the famous but found they can turn out to be a backstabber if I look a long way. I was searching, then I stumbled upon the names of you two when my secretary gave me the list which had the names of private detectives."

Both of them looked at each other then at him. "Why should we help you?" Veer asked.

"Well, if not for humanity and for old times which weren't good. I heard your sister works her as… I mean really hard and you all are getting bankrupt. I can give you quite a sum of money and also help you in promoting your business of being Sherlock Holmes and Dr. Watson and promotion to your sister in that software company. Also, I will give you advance and extra money for you know, for all the research things."

"The case seems extremely important for you," he nodded. "What is the case?" Raghav asked, the man in front of them smirked and slouched on the sofa.

"Not so easy boys. First, agree on the terms and the time limit and sign on the paper. Remember, terms and conditions will be mine and if you succeed, money and fame will be yours. I will give a day to think on my offer and keep in mind this one can be a bit dangerous." Aniruddha got on his feet and left without uttering a word.

The day went off than the two expected. The proposal was like a treasure they always sought but now when they have it, it looks unapproachable. The twins were laying on the bed next to each other.

"V!" Raghav called out to his brother. "I know, you are also thinking about the case, Raghu." Veer sighed and started biting his nails.

"What do you say? Should we accept it or not?"

"I don't know Raghu."

"You are three minutes older than me and you don't have an idea."

"Oh! You don't remember this fact when it is important but right now you are using it to hide. Seriously!"

"Let's forget about it! V, you know, for Aniruddha it is a bit dangerous. That means for us, it will be deadlier than the word deadliest." Veer nodded his head then replied, "I think we should take this risk, these owners are already behind Kriti, for marrying their drunkard son who is head over heels for her."

"You are right, we can't let this happen. Are you ready?" Veer hummed. They both fell asleep.

The morning Sun came and the two woke up after receiving a kick by Kriti. "I am going to work. Get up!" she left the two on their own and moved towards her office. The two brushed their teeth, went for a run, did some push-ups, pull-ups, etc at the local football ground and came back.

They saw a man standing at the doorstep of their house. They went up to him, "Aniruddha!" he turned around and saw the two standing behind.

They unlocked the door and went inside. "We will be back in a minute until then… Suit yourself." They both left and took a bath, and came back after 10 minutes.

They both sat down in front of him. "What is the case?" he smiled at the two. "Let's start from the beginning, shall we?" the twins nodded.

"I am married to a beautiful woman. It was a love marriage and our families weren't happy about that. With time everything became perfect. We were having a marital life we used to dream of. Just a few days ago, she told me she is pregnant with my child."

"Congratulations!"

"Don't make me say a bad word, I regret all those things but kindly don't test my patience." this shut their mouth up and Aniruddha took a deep breath.
