As i'm stepping into the next phase of my life, i don't feel so despondent anymore. And sure, im still going to have monthly breakdowns and i might miss you, but i am also glad that you didn't stay by my side.
I saw you yesterday and my heart didn't feel like its burning. I just felt at peace and full of hope and happiness for your future.
Maybe someday we will cross paths again, with our respective partners by our side, and the moments we shared will be just fond memories to look back upon. The words lost in time forever.
